The Man Who Laughs (1928)
Great tragicomedy
Irony of a sad clown and how his disfigured face affects his life.
Lord of the Flies (1963)
A great tragicomedy
You can see the human nature in its purest form: in children.
Movie starts with a group of children who were lost on an island. They create rules at first, but then everything becomes worse and worse. Roger and some other kids start disobeying the rules they have made. They create a tribe that hunts and destroy everything. They move with group psychology where no one feels guilty of the things they do, commit two murders without remorse and become savages. At the end, where they were about to commit another murder, the people come to rescue them from the island.
Dans ma peau (2002)
Enjoying yourself literally
Woman becomes obsessed with her own flesh after an accident and starts cutting herself, eating her own meat and drinking her own blood. Although the ending was anticlimactic, the movie itself was great.
Reise nach Agatis (2010)
Everything about this movie is bad
Bad script, bad acting, unnecessary zoom-ins, pointless scenes with unrelated music on top(scenes where you watch the sea waves), no depth in the characters... Not worth your time.
The Lords of Salem (2012)
Boring
It was so boring I almost fell asleep. But I give 3 stars for the music.
M - Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder (1931)
A bit boring.
Kinda boring without music. But everything else is pretty good.
Would You Rather (2012)
Bad Ending
I would give 10 stars if ending wasn't like that. Other than that film was good enough for me.
