They Live (1988)
Oh my word! Unbelievable yet believable
I've always been a great fan of John carpenter since the thing but for some reason I never got to watch this one when it came out in the late 80s, After hearing about the story line lately I decided to give it a watch and.... Daaamn, forget about the acting skills although I still found it got me emotional watching some of the scenes, and hearing some of the lines which hit home so much truth regarding the world situation now, it's an unbelievable but believable watch, we all need to stop fighting and put on those sun glasses. I wanna blast this film with infinite stars but unfortunately I can only give it 10. I have only one question though and that is. Is John carpenter related to George Orwell? 👀
Grasshopper Island (1971)
I loved this
I remember watching this as a kid. Can't remember much of it, just remember Charles Haltrey rowing a boat and three. It came out about the same time as catweazle. I know I enjoyed it but that's all I can remember unfortunately so haven't got much more to say about it so just thinking of stuff I can say to use up the six hundred characters required to be able to write this article. Oh well just over two hundred more characters to go, wait no its 152 now6. Wait a minute no its 121. Wow this is going fast just 93 now?! Actually it's just 60. Oh my word now I've just got twenty seven more to use up.
Doctor Sleep (2019)
I had to forward some bits..
What is it with Stephen King and Little boys? That seems to be the theme of most of his films, little boys getting tortured and murdeed is not a thing I like to see or even even if it's not real, and I cannot bare to hear any little kid beg for his life even in Pinocchio. Sorry if that's unfashionable but I prefer to keep it like that. I bet peds get the hots over films like these. I'll leave it at that.
Settlers (2021)
Total ReCrock
So not waste your time zzzzzzzzz.
Actually the only thing I liked about this film was the song they played on the guitar, apart from that I had to fast forward most of it and I didn't miss a thing. I predicted the whole plot. Total recall? Nah more like total ReCrock.
The Neon Demon (2016)
Great film...
To fall asleep to..I should know I fell asleep just after the beginning. woke up about hour through then fast forwarded the rest of it. rubbish. Nice song at the end though. it actually woke me up.
The Ballad of Lefty Brown (2017)
little house on the prairie meets fist full of dollars (sort of)
I quite enjoyed the film. my favourite part was when the character played by Peter fonda got shot dead in the beginning.
Aus dem Nichts (2017)
Drugs are cool
Drugs are cool and nazis are violent. You get all the facts here folks
