Megamind vs the Doom Syndicate (2024)
Bad guys, just bad
Cheap animation, bad jokes, terrible dialogue... it's pretty clear why the voice cast didn't return. This is yet another lazy sequel/series that seems to exist purely to push content. I wish I hadn't wasted time watching this or the new series this setup, that started auto-playing as the credits were rolling. I know a lot of this stuff gets accused of being written by AI during the strikes, but I can see that actually happening here, with it looking so terrible because it was rushed out.
As of now, there are a few reviews here that are glowing. Don't believe them. One of them only reviewed this and the also awful series. 1 is a new user and this is their only review. Sus.
Megamind Rules! (2024)
No, this is not good

As of now, there's 1 other review here that's glowing. Don't believe it. They've only reviewed this and the awful straight to streaming movie that dropped on the same day to set this up. Sus.
This show started auto-playing as soon as that ended, which I'll bet is going to be most of it's viewership. I wish I hadn't wasted time watching either. I know a lot of this stuff gets accused of being written by AI during the strikes, but I can see that actually happening here, with it looking so terrible because it was rushed out. Do better guys.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023)
HATED this mess
So I finally got around to watching this, and wow. Just... wow. I've seen some bad movies before, especially cheap horror movies with terrible effects, amateur acting, storylines that go nowhere and make no sense, etc. But this, this wasn't even one of those. At least with some of those you can tell someone might have cared enough to try. This was just bad all around.
Story? Lol, no. Sfx? Who knows. Characters you care about? Nope. I didn't even want them to die, I just didn't care. Especially at the end. We're supposed to care because CR suddenly does? Because of the backstories that meant nothing? Who was she again? Who cares. RUN DUMMIES! Ugh.
I hate hate hate this stupid movie. It was bad and the people who made this should feel bad. 0 desire to watch a sequel or another future derivative mess.
Drive-In Horrorshow (2009)
Bad
To the guy in the 1st review from 2018, did you actually watch this? Guessing not. It was not her bf, and she was not the hero. Nor was that the problem here.
This isn't even campy bad, it's just bad bad. When I saw it pop up on a streaming site where you can use your library card to watch stuff like this for free, I was expecting a cheesy anthology like others here have noted. Like Creepshow, or maybe even Tales From The Darkside. But it was somehow worse that even those, despite coming out decades later when effects have improved on even the cheapest shows and movies. Bad acting, dialogue, and lazy tropes that don't go anywhere didn't help either.
I rarely feel like I've wasted time watching stuff, even bad or b-movies, but this was an actual waste of time. It was free, and I still want my money back. 1 star.
