Healing (2014)
a fine and enjoyable story
I found this a great relief from the norm.
Firstly it is an Aussie Film, andf the ABC is involved that certainly was a good start.
The story is credible and flows very well.
An enjoyable part of the story is the birds,
The acting is fine.
There is nothing further to say and I will watch it again.
I liked the movie.
Sherlock (2010)
it is not Sherlock Holmes.
In my mind whatever version of Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle's Sherlock Holmes is revived the only version that is the near to the original is the Jeremy Brett version of this iconic character.
Although this version is entertaining with fine British actors it is not the definitive version of this great work.
The Limey (1999)
Another fine Terence Stamp movie
This is a Terence Stamp movie. it is all about this character and his mission. The creative style of the movie is captivating and curious and allowed me to keep going to the end. I found this style very interesting. This movie for me stands alone in this style and the story.
Judy (2019)
Where is Mickey Rooney?
The movie looks great however i dont see a Mickey Rooney character in this story. Why?

Deadwood (2019)
Outstanding
This is a fine ending for the most enjoyable series. The final movie with all the characters we have known from the series. Personally I would have preferred that the series ran longer. Definitely one of the great ones.
Designated Survivor (2016)
I Like it
I like the acting. Keifer Sutherland is fine as the President and the supporting platers are fine too. To be honest I enjoyed it right up to the end of the 2nd Season.
I understand why people are negative about most things because it is for the thrill of being noticed.
Hopefully season 3 will be as good.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys good drama and a good story.
Watch it and don't be put off the negative reviewers.
Blood and Fury: America's Civil War (2016)
very disappointing
I am not a student of the American Civil war but I am an individual who is respectful of this momentous War between the States and the terrible price that was paid by both sides.
This documentary does not show any respect for this conflict and it seems to me that it is not an impartial view of the war and that there were many leaders who were not even mentioned, great people who had influence in this conflict.
For me the definitive record of the American Civil War is the books by the great Shelby Foote and Ken Burns outstanding series.
In the end I saw nothing here that would indicate that the producers knew nothing about the subject they had produced.
