Four Brothers (2005)
7/10
Good entertainment - violent, dramatic and witty in parts
18 October 2005
Good movie, and deserves a solid 7. From the first to the last scene the movie kept you engrossed, with the 4 brothers excellently casted, in a movie about loyalty and revenge. These are brothers you would not want to get the wrong side of.

The movie moves along with the generally fearless and ruthless brothers (and also witty), seeking out a rampage on underground Detroit in order to find out who killed there adopted sweet mother. Meeting some bad guys along the way, including the ruthless gang lord Victor Sweet, the movie contains some excellent scenes, including an excellent car chase in the snow.

Lord of War (2005)

A fantastic movie - not your average Hollwood blockbuster. Cage deserves an Oscar
14 October 2005
Nicholas Cage was at his ever most impressive and deserves an Oscar nomination, along with the supporting cast of Jared Leno, the actor who played the Liberian President and the beautiful actress who played the lovely Eva.

The film was one of the best I have seen come out of Hollywood in the last year, and would thoroughly recommend it. I would compare it, in the mould of Catch Me If you can: with the good cop chasing the bad guy; mixed with Blow and Sword Fish.

I especially liked the realism of the West African set. After watching the film I actually felt like I had visited there. Also, for a film with the message it portrays to come out of Hollywood, did quite amaze me.
