An error has ocurred. Please try againAlso, with Aisha Tyler they have another random celebrity guest as well so I will indicate with "4th" for official and "Guest" for--you guessed it--guest appearance.
P.S. If you don't agree, that's fine, I didn't make it for you. Please keep that info to yourself or whatever cuz I really don't care and you'd be wasting everyone's time.
Reviews
Deep (2017)
Bad.
I had hopes that it would be decent, but it looks like it's trying to be Finding Nemo, and the plot is sort of similar, but it's just bad. It seems like the creators weren't even trying. Give it a shot if you want, but it's really bad and not worth it.
Supernatural: Freaks and Geeks (2013)
Pathetic
Just pathetic. I have grown to love the show after the past several weeks of marathoning* this piece of art. I know that shows often become formulaic and predictable after several seasons, but this episode made me almost tear up in its utter laziness. The plot-line is an embarrassment to the show and the entire Television Community.
*unrelated but this system marked marathoning as misspelled but even the OED recognizes it
Pacific Heat (2016)
Not what others are saying, worth a chance
First of all, this show is not "trying to be Archer". The two have very similar concepts, but so do a lot of shows & movies. Also, in the Trivia section it clearly states "Despite being compared to Archer the concept for this show dates back to 1996 with the Working Dog radio serial Johnny Swank."
Secondly, for the people saying that it's offensive, it is no where near as bad as South Park, which millions adore. It's a comedy. It is certainly not the first or only comedy/comedian to have jokes like that.
It's not as good as Archer, but it is more ridiculous. It's quick-fire, outrageous, and daring. It's at least worth a chance.
Friends: The One Where the Monkey Gets Away (1995)
Rachel monkey-sits Marcel and he escapes
PREFACE: The warning on spoilers freaked me out so I'll just always click it to be sure.
REVIEW: It is revealed in this episode that Marcel is an ILLEGAL EXOTIC pet. The gang tries to fight to get him back, but the reality is that there's usually--but not always--a reason that a certain 'pet' is illegal. It is selfish and irresponsible to try to domesticate a non- human primate in NEW YORK CITY. It's dangerous enough for humans. -- >Not to mention that in any state, if you are caught with an illegal non-human animal companion, they can/probably will confiscate it and euthanize it. So if one wants an exotic pet please get a permit or move to a state where it is legal. Otherwise every second is a risk to that animal's life and if that happens only you are to blame. It's pure selfishness.
DISCLAIMER: I love this show so much! This is really the only problem I have with it. Most people aren't dumb enough to take their parenting advice (pets are animals too) from a TV show, but because some are, this could be a dangerous inspiration.
Scrubs: My Dream Job (2003)
This episode involves a few people from Turk & JD's college past. Two of them are getting married and JD & Turk want to get them a ferret.
PREFACE: The warning on spoilers freaked me out so I'll just always click it to be sure.
REVIEW: First of all, a live animal is NEVER a good or even appropriate gift. Part of what creates the bond is selecting your own companion.
Secondly, as a ferret-mom for several years now, I was horrified when Turk said this: "Don't forget to tell 'em that the ferret only eats fresh vegetables." If anyone fed a ferret "only...fresh vegetables" the ferret would die in less than half a year. Ferrets are obligate carnivores and have a really hard time digesting vegetables. Without meat/protein, they will deteriorate incredibly fast and then die.
DISCLAIMER: I love this show so much! This is really the only problem I have with it. Most people aren't dumb enough to take their parenting advice from a TV show, but because some are, this could be a dangerous quote.
American Dad!: A.T. The Abusive Terrestrial (2007)
Stan & Francine obsess over Mr. Pibb
PREFACE: The warning on spoilers freaked me out so I'll just always click it to be sure.
REVIEW: There was one part in this episode where the tour-guide from the Mr. Pibb factory announces that he will be having a sex-change operation the next day. Then, in the next scene, he's eyeballing a box of tampons and says "oh soon my sweets" in a creepy fashion and petting the box. Okay yeah he's being creepy, but a transgender woman wouldn't have a period, ever, (no eggs) so I have to wonder what he is planning on using them for? That's disturbing.
DISCLAIMER: In case anybody read that as anti-trans, reread it and know that I have exactly zero issue with trans-people, the issue I have is wtf is planning on doing with those tampons??
