Undone (2019)
Much Too Short--I Want to See More of This
This short has pure potential. I would definitely watch it as a series and was expecting more than eight minutes. Elma Begovic is magnetic and could definitely draw a nice following. I like that she's multilingual, living in the city and struggling to find a good paying job like so many others. Give me more.
Children of Invention (2009)
It Wasn't That Good
I was expecting so much more from this movie, but all I got was an easily deceived, naive mother that abused her children by keeping them up too late, not feeding them enough and falling for every easy money scheme that came her way. She was the worst mother and deserved more jail time. The kids did what they could to survive, but their plans to make a million dollars was a pipe dream that would have never come true from their corny little inventions. That was a waste of 85 minutes.
Under the Silver Lake (2018)
What Did I Just Spend Two Hours and 20 Minutes Watching?!??
I gave in to the lure that this was going to be a good movie since Andrew Garfield was starring. After all, he was once Spiderman. But, the more I watched this noir film, the less it revealed in substance. At first, it appeared to make sense, but, then it went downhill from there. I never figured out who the dog killer was. What was that part about the followers and their religion under ground? Why didn't he try to get a job? Why did he have to park his car so far away, take that long, dark, winding path just to get to his apartment? The ending revealed nothing as I lost sight of the girl he was looking for since he met so many others in between. What a waste of time. Don't bother.
Badge of Honor (2018)
How Did This Movie Average 7.7 Stars and No Reviews?
I watched the first three or four minutes of this movie and was totally turned off. The title I saw it under was "Blue Lives Matter". The only way I was able to locate it on IMDB was by typing in Blue Lives and then the matching movie promo photo appeared. In my opinion, this is a B movie at its best. I couldn't take the second-rate acting but, the worst part was the shaky cameras. My eyes couldn't focus on the characters for all the shaking!!! The 'corpse' in the first scene was obviously someone playing dead, but in the next scene was a blanket covered body. No blood, no violent pose, nothing. I turned it off and wrote this review. Don't waste your time and pass on this one.
Steve Treviño: 'Til Death (2019)
Hysterically and Real Life Comedy at Its Best
Steve was very funny and I could relate to everything he said. Being married is not easy, but when a comedian like Steve offers his take on it, it becomes easier to understand and share the comradery. Enjoy his show as much as my husband and I did.
Safety Not Guaranteed (2012)
I Must Be the Only One That Hated This
I saw no endearment, nor inciteful acting nor interesting characters at all! What did I miss? I can't believe I paid $2.99 for this waste of time hour and 25 minutes. I got through about 30 minutes and I had to move on to something else.
Halt: The Motion Picture (2018)
What a Waste of Time
I could only stomach 20 minutes of this racist tirade from the so called "rent a cop" scenario. The entire plot was so easy to surmise and everything about this movie was low budget. I wanted to try and finish it, but it wasn't worth it. I have no idea how it received 10 out of 10 stars from others because it was pointless from the get go. Don't bother wasting your time on this one.
Traffik (2018)
What a Waste of 90 Minutes of My Life
I agree with several other reviewers, the review rating has been skewed to a higher rating than this waste of time is worth. I eagerly anticipated this film because of Paula Patton, but was let down from the beginning with a slow moving plot. It was a twisted, weird plot with Patton having little feeling for her boyfriend Epps who planned to propose, whose best friend Laz Alonso is an imposter and an imposer on his friend and is a user in the worst kind of way. I watched it 'til the end, but only because I was bored. Don't bother wasting your time; it's not worth it. I was generous with a rating of 5, but seriously would have given it a two if it weren't for Patton and Epps.
Man on Fire (2004)
This Action Packed Thriller Never Gets Old
I saw this in the theater when it first came out, then I saw it again tonight on cable. I never tire of this action-packed thriller. Denzel at his amazing best. Period.
Nocturnal Agony (2011)
How Did This Movie Get a 7.3 Out of 10 Review??
That was over 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. This low budget movie hooked me in with some name stars, but then it had a predictable storyline whose ending I never even bothered to see. The heavy religious theme coupled with the stereotyped characters--a former drug addicted wife and mother who has never told her husband of 15 years about her past, including her childhood abuse at the hands of her mother's pedophile boyfriend, who falls off the wagon after she runs into her cousin who had introduced her to the drug scene in the first place. I couldn't take it anymore and just quit with 20 minutes to spare. Don't waste your time with this one.
