Many questions but I want only one.
22 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I am intrigued by the mysterious fate of the frozen corpse in the arctic frigid cold. How did it manage to survive being naked and frozen solid for over 48 hours in the extreme cold? The removal process is left unexplained, leaving us completely in the dark.

What about the broken frozen solid arm? The narrative seems to overlook this crucial point, leaving us wondering about the implications for the entire incident.

Additionally, the lack of portrayal of the doctors' awe and amazement when the corpse is brought to the hospital feels like a missed opportunity. Such a miraculous survival should evoke strong reactions, adding depth to the story.

The absence of a follow-up on this extraordinary event raises more questions. Why isn't there further exploration into the aftermath?

And again how the heck did he stay alive and feeling a broken frozen solid arm?

I Don't Get It!

The film titled "Totally Killer" leaves me somewhat perplexed with its elusive title, as it fails to convey a clear sense of its content. Within the movie, elements such as neuroticism, a notable lack of logical coherence, and forced attempts at humor all appear to be apparent, offering insights into the director's distinctive style and approach.

Regarding my impression of the film, I find it challenging to categorize it within conventional genres. It doesn't neatly fit into the realms of comedy, horror, or science fiction, and regrettably, it does not provide an enjoyable viewing experience. In essence, "Totally Killer" defies classification, making it a somewhat enigmatic cinematic venture. The rationale behind its production, apart from potential considerations related to ESG policies, remains a puzzle.

Self-Glorifying Pretentiousness
18 July 2023
I have always been a huge fan of Keanu Reeves and his portrayal of John Wick. However, this latest installment left me somewhat disappointed. It felt like an unending parade of astonishing killings and miraculous survivals. I could have accepted this if the movie had hinted at a parallel universe with no police presence and where John Wick possessed superhuman healing and accuracy powers. It would have added a layer of intrigue to the story. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

It would have been refreshing to see Keanu's character engage in more dialogue and character development rather than constant shootings. In fact, he statistically killed 151 characters but spoke only 380 words throughout the entire movie meaning he had to kill one person for every other two or three words he uttered!

I must admit that the shooting -of course!- scene at 02:08:30 was truly impressive and captivating, making me revisit it several times. However, beyond that particular scene, there wasn't much acting to appreciate. The film seemed more focused on self-glorification than delivering a somewhat realistic storyline that adheres to common sense and the laws of physics.

Despite the film's pretentious dialogues and at times, excessive overacting, I can't deny the stunning aesthetics and visuals that the movie offered. The production values were undeniably top-notch, but sadly, they couldn't make up for the lack of depth in the plot.

The previous three installments of the franchise were more grounded and enjoyable, in my opinion. This latest one, however, veered too far into an exaggerated and fantastical realm, losing the charm that made me a fan in the first place.

Kudos to Dean Patrick Flanery
12 July 2023
While I generally avoid religious preaching movies and woke propaganda films, I must admit that I found myself surprisingly engaged by this particular movie. The primary reason for my enjoyment was the remarkable performance of Sean Patrick Flanery in the role of Edward.

Flanery's dedication and talent shone through, as he single-handedly carried the film and transported me into unsettling realms where the boundaries between deranged human psyche and the metaphysical became hazy.

I enthusiastically recommend this movie, as it offers a mix of entertainment, philosophical depth, and occasional moments of distress. Overall, it is a largely enjoyable and thought-provoking experience.

I would like to extend my appreciation to Sean Patrick Flanery once again for his outstanding portrayal. His performance deserves significant recognition.

Pass!
10 July 2023
Racism entails discriminating against individuals or groups based on their skin color.

This film completely demonizes the entire white population indiscriminately. Imagine switching the colors and attempting to rationalize the movie, defending its storyline and plot.

It's not based on true events, but rather a fantastical hallucination. In all honesty, there's little else to add.

If you wish to enjoy it, do so, but be prepared to suspend logic and common sense. True art should stimulate thoughtful reflection, not evoke negative sentiments.

Furthermore, it is essential for art to promote inclusivity and understanding, fostering a society where diversity is celebrated rather than perpetuating harmful stereotypes.

Another Netflix Woke POS.
31 July 2022
Nothing new here. Just another comically unrealistic, misandristic hot piece of Netflix wokeness garbage.

One star is zero stars. No wonder Netflix is being dumped by millions every month.

Mentally Unstable Makers.
23 October 2021
This piece of crap is a manifestation of the mental illnesses devouring the brains of its makers. No logic, no logic and no logic, with almost the same quality of craftsmanship you'd expect from a drunken blacksmith baking cakes. A sadistic cesspool that will leave you wanting to verbally abuse all cast members. Simple-minded linear characters with robotic actions and reactions. A movie meant to shock you artistically but instead ends up shocking you with no purpose.

Stupid waste of time!
13 August 2021
Hitmen movies usually show you the protagonist hitman as a smart person. This one doesn't! The "hitman" here is slow to understand, slow to even know who his targets are.

I've seen lately several movies done in the past 2 years with prominent actors, these movies were so bad they don't even qualify to be a B movie. I don't understand what makes these actors do that.

Cringeworthy!
12 August 2021
I couldn't carry myself to watch it till the end. The gun fighting scenes made me want to crawl under the bed in shame. The director has never seen a war movie in his life. What a wasted potential.

A Dangerous Role Model
9 August 2021
A few serious tips to all audiences:

1- Don't open a parachute standing in the back of a speeding truck.

2- Don't run in an open field during a dry thunderstorm. (Relay race style running included).

3- When you're close to a wildfire, don't run towards the fire.

This movie wasted a lot of talent trying to animate a dead script.

No character development, no revelation, a lot of plot holes and continuities. This movie felt like it wanted to go everywhere at the same time but failed miserably.

Deserves More Stars.

Warning: Spoilers
At one point in the middle of the movie I was lost. I didn't know when the horror will begin. But when the plot twist was revealed my heart sank, and I felt horrifically enraged. I don't have much to say about this movie, you have to watch it yourself. I did, however, enjoy the scene where the "gentlemen" are locked inside the "steam Room". I also enjoyed the scene where the fair lady of the plantation comes to a complete and sudden stop near the end of the movie. The horror I felt in this movie was unprecedented to me. It's that kind of horror you feel can be extremely plausible in this day and age. After the movie ended I felt upset there was not enough displays of fine finishes of the antagonists. I know why "some people" hated this movie. They have every right to that.

I must say the ending left me wanting; it should have been longer and with more context. Other than that it's a beautiful movie about love, pain and what makes us human. Recommended.

How much time are we talking about?
8 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The ending ruined it all, as I was dumbfounded when the last twist was revealed, that is when I realized that the girl was in that ravine for less than a week!! Hear me please, It took the father over 36 hours to actively start looking for his daughter, then the police got engaged, and then the volunteer group search, and then the crazy dude confessing and killing himself, and then the brother encounter, and then the bizarre hanging-on-a-thread conclusion of the detective's involvement, and then the incredibly swift response of the police force who immediately believed and acted upon the crazy conspiracy theory of the father, and then the arrest and the confessions, and then the realization that the daughter might still be alive after having fallen over 50 feet to a rock bottom ravine which would have at the least rendered her very badly injured, unable to move and exposed to elements and to wildlife for the whole time..! and the makers of this movie want us to believe that all of the above happened within 5 days!!!

If this tech-savvy father or the authorities thought of looking for her iPhone when they first started looking, this movie would have ended in less than half an hour!!

It would have been a lot more realistic and thought provoking if it ended finding the body in that ravine a month later..

I rooted for the killing of the Cured.
25 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Boring, lifeless, grim and frustrating. I actually started rooting for the killing of the cured ones, just half way through the movie. I don't know but I felt as if the makers of this flick actually wanted the viewers NOT to feel any compassion with the Cured! There's also some stereotypical theme specially when the Cured start attacking the military, it's like if you're Irish and feel mistreated then you light up a Molotov cocktail and burn whatever symbols your oppressor!

And really, what kind of an officer goes to make an arrest alone? And how do you keep any number of infected ones within two gates of the open with so little guards?!

This whol movie could have been summed up in 15 minuets of actual events and save everyone a lot of wasted time.

A major letdown.

Made me feel sad!
24 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

I liked this movie, it just made me very sad. The concep of this film that is falling-out -of-time is scary and heartbreaking. Just the idea of seconds passing in the cave while outside years were flying by, is heart wrenching when you think of all the characters' loved ones spent the rest of their lives till their death not knowing what happened. Other than that, only some characters lacked the proper emotinal reaction to this whole ordeal.

Watch it, it's worth it.

Long TWD webisodes.. nothing more..
12 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Even in the realm of the Z apocalypse universe this show is taking place in, a lot of things don't make sense. I can't see any real effort put here, skimming on the really sought-out scenes of decaying society, the mediocre-at-best CGI (The YACHT scene and the shooting flashes!), the emotionless reaction of most characters to what should have been an enormous shock to everyone when everything they ever knew and lived by is no more, etc.

What we've seen was so uninteresting I think I like the TWD webisodes even more now, at least those did not try to pretend to be something special.. Unfortunately and because of TWD show itself I will have to watch FTWD next season hoping someone will not completely abandon this opportunity to make something really special..

One last thing and this goes for both TWD and FTWD effects teams, for god's sake when shooting close takes of firearms going off can you please make some empty shells fly off and give them some noise when they hit the ground?! Thanks! I'm afraid the makers of this show just wanted a quick cash-in on the success of TWD. Really sad.
