Titanic (1996)
Not As Bad As People Say It Is
Okay, before I start, I love the MOVIE Titanic, by James Cameron. I brought this DVD by mistake and ended up liking it. It really is a good movie/mini-series. It pales in comparison to the movie, but it is very enjoyable.
It is very down-to-earth. It has a more realistic take on the whole disaster. It dosn't just show you one random love story between two strangers, but a more varied plot-line.
However, It is kind of confusing to follow but overall, 8 out of 10.
(P.S. The cast is great, especially Tim Curry & Marilu Henner....all of the cast gave amazing performances)
The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie (2005)
Fake Stuff
Okay I saw the sneak preview of this stupid movie. First off the movie is so posed and not real, they are all acting. They can't sing. They are way too full of themselves. Its awful. Yes kids like 8 to 10 might enjoy but its really stupid. I mean they say their manager is a kid. And there record label is fake. Its stupid. Don't see it.
As for the set up and directing, not so bad. It is a cute documentary but it documents a stupid thing.
Only see this if you don't really like good music. Also, it's very corny. It's not even tasteful. I hate to be so mean...but this really is a piece of junk.
Appointment with Death (1988)
The Best Poirot In History!
Peter Ustinov is the best Poirot since Poirot has been on film. Even though Agatha Christie says she pictured Poirot more like Albert Finney in Murder On The Orient Express, Ustinov is much less annoying and a lot more fun. He's sarcastic and funny and pulls the best Belgian accent i've ever seen. These movies have amazing plots(thanks to Dame Christie :)) and the casts are outstanding. For all you Christie readers, these are the best Poirot movies out there. I suggest you see them in order(even though you don't have too, it makes them even better. Albert Finney did it good, David Suchet did disgustingly and Peter Ustinov did it amazing.
