Firstly,this film is totally miscast,the idea that J whatever her name is,could pull off being some sort of bad ass mf,the clue could be in the title,and secondly,it managed to put in every cliche under the sun! Slightly predictable,I knew when the wolf was going to turn up before the wolf did,and he had a script. Apart from my petty criticisms,the film was ok,I probably won't remember it tomorrow,but it wasn't a painful watch,so that I'll never forget it! If you watch this without any expectations,you will be able to vaguely enjoy a couple of hours (ish) of mindless entertainment. If you have expectations,then avoid it like the plague!!!!

I love a low budget film,but this is pitiful. Who funds these things? If it's proper investors,the they should have all their money taken away from them and given to charity. If it's an art council grant or some such other,they need to be investigated. The plot is nonsensical,the script contradicts itself every five minutes,the acting is pretty awful. There are periods of longshots with piano playing,abit like a poor Michael Mann, I don't think this was a tribute,but more than likely,they didn't have anything to fill the slot. Then it becomes an episode of Psycho Professor! I'm usually pretty generous,however,in this case,I can't. Ps, don't let anybody whose written and directed something,allowed to act in it! Sorry!!

Is this one of the worst films I've ever seen, or am I missing the point? Firstly the acting is atrocious, more wooden than a carpenters workshop, however, Bannerman is ok. The sound is bad, even with the over the top cockney vernacular, it's very hard to tell what anyone's saying. The landscape shots are ok, they seemed to have spent more time and money on these than the acting. The dialogue is like something out of a cartoon. I liked the sequencing very much. But all in all it was awful. The killer had the best deal, never saying a word. And the ending, my mouth was wide open, not through shock and horror, but shear disbelief!!

I spent most of the film threatening to turn it off, but didn't either from a morbid fascination, or the farcical hope that it was going to turn into a musical.

What load of rubbish. I still can't believe how bad it was. The story was ridiculous, the acting was terrible. How do these people get away with churning out this drivel, as I would wager that it wasn't cheap to produce. Well blow me down with a feather.

Just seen this for the first time in thirty odd years. What a load of doggie dooo! Was I such a prick years ago, that this drivel was deemed acceptable? To be honest I can't remember. I never thought it to be great, but to memory it wasn't this bad!!!!!

Dark, random, and yeah!! Not the easiest watch, and I wouldn't call it entertaining ; however, incredibly engaging. Drama, drama, drama!!! Highly recommended!

Put five or six movies into a blender and voila! Escape from New York, slightly Presidential with a time limit, the plot! Fortress 2, the location! Silly arsed agent who sneakes an authorised gun into a penitentiary of sorts, who sets the whole ball rolling, Con Air! Two brothers, one clever, yet brutal; the slighty psycopathic and a little bit special needs; now let me think Face/Off or Tarrantino without the vampires! Apart from that Besson is always visually stunning! There will be more comparisons when the fluffy stuff from the bottom of the liquidiser comes to the top! Apart from that ok!

Shocking, powerful, hurtful, with a tinge of heartwarming. If you watch a Ken Loach film it usually ruins your day, probably the week;however, this wasn't Ken Loach, very disturbing, at points not easy to watch, but great, with exceptional performances. Bravo.

The heroes aren't likeable , the villains aren't despicable! All the characters are very two dimensional. Poor, poor, poor!!! Let me entertain you? This is a weak pastiche of many other fixer series, but it doesn't have any substance.

This is very poor, got to episode 3, and I'm struggling. The characters are poop, the acting is poop, the story is to say the least poop, and the budget is a bit iffy. Marvel have been faultless over the last 15-20 years, but recently it's all going horribly wrong! The eternals? Need I say more. Just because you can make something doesn't mean you should!!

The premise is odd, but fascinating, the weird thing is the use of dialects without any explanation. Russian, African, and not just snippets, but great chunks of dialogue! Why do people do this it's bloody annoying, unless your a multilingual interpreter. Yes this sort of thing works if the acting is flawless, and for dramatic effect no-one is in any doubt of the message. But this is not the case.

As a fifteen years old, I watched this on vhs, it was all about the fight scenes, and I remember fondly the montages. Jean Claude "Dick Van Dyke" was a nobody. Thirty years plus on, this film is awfully brilliant! Ivan the bad Russian (cold war, and probably Reagan), I think this was before Ivan Drago? The acting is mindblowingly bad, yet perfect. Does genius know that it is genius. I would at this point be practicing kicks and punches, but my fifty something arthritic body won't let me!!! Going to watch Class of 84 next!!!!

If this was a piss take, it would be mildly amusing. But it's not, so it isn't. What is the purpose of this film? Incredible that someone would fund this thing. I think Grange Hill was better!!!

Could have been brilliant, but in a perverse way it wasn't supposed to be, which made it better. This doesn't make any sense, but at the end it does. It is what it is, and I'm happy. What more can you say! Watch and enjoy!!

Over the last decade or so Marvel have not put a foot wrong! So is this an indication of what is to come courtesy of Disney. I'm sorry but this film is terrible. The acting is iffy, the story is suspect to say the least, and well everything about it is poor. If this is Disney, then they should give it back, and apologise. Sorry but don't waste your time with this drivel.

One of the first films I saw on video, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, and as an eight year old life changing. Watched it again in my fifties and my god it's even better! Insane cheesy madness!!! Tony must have been a bit skint at the time. Bravo to the insanity!!!

Revenge movie, Thriller movie, Road Trip movid, all in one. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, and a lovely suprise. Probably missed a few more genres but what the heck!!

Stop remaking classics! When a film is called a classic it's because the film is pretty much perfect. Why then would you want to tamper with it, mindless. After 30mins everyone's telling Jack to go home, and truthfully I'm on their side!!! I forgive Michael Caine because they probably offered him more money than sense! And he probably doesn't give a toss!

It copied, and by crikey it has been copied. A very underated film. I remember seeing this around the time of release from a bargain dvd shop, and thinking why hadn't I heard of it? Watching it again in 2021,still thinking the same question? Great cast, production good, story good. Probably one of those, when another film got the funding. Shame, but a very good flick nonetheless!

How did this one fly under the radar. In 2004 I was probably in the pub. Well wrtten, well acted, and I'm not sure I ever want to go to a hospital again (that last comment is in no way any reflection on the wonderful NHS). My only criticism is that there were far to many unnecessary sex scenes, and way way too many gory muff shots. With regard to the muff shots, the effects were shockingly good, but unfortunately always coincided with my dinner!

I'm sorry but Melissa Mccarthy is not funny. Susan Sarandon is the only saving grace for this film, and I just discoved Will Ferrell produced it, which is the proverbial kiss of death!!

What an incredibly hard film to watch. I liked it, I hated it, and as it went on I felt the cheese was slipping of my cracker!! Glad I got to the end without having a breakdown. Well done, but in an uncomfortable, that jumper I haven't worn in a year is infested with creepy crawlies, sort of way. Don't worry I've covered all the mirrors in the house, because I keep having arguments with someone who has an uncanny resembleance to me!!

Just watched this on netfix, never heard of it, and now I know why! Action or comedy, quite frankly it's neither. Still quite shocked as why someone like Harrison Ford agree to do this pile of hooey. Nevermind!!

This is a perfect example of style over substance. Visually it's incredibly good, but the absence of a story, let alone a script is baffling. How the hell are we (the viewer) supposed to make head nor tail of it, when both the actors, and the director haven't got a scooby doo. Can we blame it on the editor!!! 🤔

I liked it, I loved the sense of humour! It just sort of lost its way somewhere down the line. What a pity.
