One of Cage's better films.

The devil here is moving cocaine.

None of the character's here are innocents If the agent in charge would have killed the man instead of the cook her vengeance could be seen as justified.

The man poisoned her sister however, the agent in charge and her number one took it upon themselves to track down, morally preach to then kill the cook in his kitchen.

No good guys, lots of dead guys.

Much closer to reality than most cop/dope dealer movies.

If you are a fan of Cage, Fishburn and the rest of the cast here I recommend you take the time to watch this.

The acting was good, the effects are well done, it is a very well done action Sci-Fi, and I assume the voices are overdubbed as this is a Russian film if so the overdubbing was excellent.

Spoilers Below:

The idea that I am a virus planted here to wipe out the advanced society who built the pyramids etc... is a unique idea I have never seen in a film or frankly considered. I won't go to deeply here, watch to see.

The problem that many will not accept is that aliens created the idea of a loving god to keep us in check. Again I won't pursue this see it for yourselves however, for believers in Christ myself included I have to conclude this as a negative, in someway deal breaker in an otherwise very good film.

I am seeing more and more references to the Sumerian cuneiform that I cannot read for myself (kind of hmmm), making a similar claim in the Sumerian creation myth Enuma Elish.

I do not want to soap box here however, I see this as a religious "which came first the chicken or the egg" since we will never know the exact date, and cannot go back in time yet for our atheist scientist to claim they can date anything by carbon decay, but will claim this as if they have already have solved time travel.

So, the Sumerians pecking on clay were thousands of years later writing down their oral story it's likely been embellished by each orator if by some chance they were correct.

Oh yea, the movie just watch it, and make up your own mind.

The first half of the movie was entertaining… just as I was about to express this the film flipped over on its back and crapped all over its self, then smiled as if that was amusingly quaint.

Only the director Matthew Vaughn, producers, writers, and Mr. Super Star Capital the One and Only Samuel L. Jackson could find humor in debasing Christians alluding to all folks from the state of Kentucky by name, several times, bloatingly supreme with a stiff upper lip showing an intimate knowledge of said churches existence based on racism with the people attending completely unworthy of anything but a good old sadistic blood orgy with a Kingsmen axing women, and men all with the lust only the self-righteous could muster, then with a gleam in eye gave us all a Urkel "Did I do that"…

Stupid waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaste…. Could have been a very good series with sequels, they blew that.
