WandaVision: Previously On (2021)
Best episode yet!!! 10/10
I hate to be this close to the end! But I'm so excited for the last episode and for the future of the MCU!!! This is the first episode I've seen where I can't get over the fat that what I'm watching is canon!!! New, fresh, and it's actually canon! After a year without new Marvel, this is a blessing! It makes me excited for "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and "Loki" and "What If?" and "Hawkeye" and "Ms. Marvel" and "Black Widow" and Shang-Chi" and "Eternals"!!! But most importantly - it makes me excited for "Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness" and the "X-Men" and the "Fantastic Four"!!! It's a crappy time right now but there's plenty reasons to think that the 2020's will be freakin' awesome!!!
WandaVision (2021)
BE AFRAID!
Don't let the music manipulate you...this is a Horror/Thriller! It's down right creepy and it's the first taste of a scarier MCU! I religiously count the days to the next episode! Every bit of information given is more and more mysterious and damning!
Whatever the hell this show is, it is a glimpse into the next phase of the MCU! The jokes can be funny, don't laugh! This is just as scary as the blip! The snap that started the events of this show is now just a single piece of the overall puzzle! Please bring back the real Quicksilver, introduce the Mutants, and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Please God!!! Do Mojovision (if that isn't already going on...) and PLEASE GOD do "THE BROOD SAGA"!!!
Please!!! I also highly recommend! I'm a sucker for Marvel stuff 10 out of 10!!!
Les Misérables (2012)
PERFECTION!
Anne Hathaway had me in love and in tears! This is one of the best musical adaptations of all time! In my ranking, it's only number 2 to Fiddler! A boarder line masterpiece that will keep you in tears from damn near beginning to end! It's disgustingly beautiful and depressingly optimistic! Just watch it and you'll get it if you have an ounce of appreciation for the arts! Is it perfect? No where near! Some decisions are even off putting! But it's probably the best film adaptation we are gonna get for a long long time! I absolutely loved it, flaws and all! Totally recommend for anyone who likes musicals!
No Limits: The Thalidomide Saga (2016)
A Beautiful Story for an Empath
In no way am I a hippie like my mother. However, I find it hard to passively watch any tragedy without putting myself in the victim's shoes even if SOMETIMES I can sympathize with the villain even though they have created and devised unthinkable sins. It's a peaceful curse that allows me to see the grey amidst the common black & White outlook.
However, to the civilized population of any first world I assume that most if not all people would see not only the underlying as well as in your face error in Eugenics as not only a mistake but a tragedy!
I am a liberal. I accept as well as personally endorse and stand for reproductive rights of women and their bodies. However, this documentary shows the ways that people BORN with what we would call "disabilities" can not only lead a normal (if not tough) life (after birth), but they can in spite of all preconceived expectations, rise above the preset status quo and become anything they are capable of dreaming being able to do!
It's sad as well as beautiful and I recommend it to pretty much everyone
