Well written, well acted, well shot, interesting plot, thoughtful, and several beautiful women in various stages of dress; what more could a man want from a serious film.

I enjoyed this film overall about a coming of age. There were enough laughs to call this a comedy, but it was more than just that. I found Ben's "powers" to be interesting without suspending too much reality. I thought that the acting by Sean Biggerstaff to be very good. Nice to see him stepping out of Harry Potter and do well. The cast was very solid.

Overall, a good solid B- for this flick.

Shadow Puppets (2007)

Poor in so many ways

I've read reviews posted here stating that this movie "is a treat." We must have been watching different movies. Aside from Jolene Blalock and Natasha Alam running around in their underwear for most of the movie, there was very little to consider a treat.

The special effects were B-movie at best, the acting was poor, the story felt like it has already been done, I didn't care about any of the characters, and the dialog was uninteresting at best. I would not recommend this movie unless you are a HUGE Jolene Blalock fan(are there any out there?).

I gave it a 2 base solely on the fact that its not the worst movie I've ever seen, that distinction belongs to Daredevil.

Catwoman (2004)

I finally had to register with the IMDb just so I could warn other users about how bad this movie really is. I'm a fan of the genre, but this movie had a terrible plot, poor acting, and contained no character development. I did not have any emotion for Catwoman or her alter-ego, Patience. The cop was cliché, the villain was over-the-top, the camera movements made me nauseous, and the obligatory "wise-lady" was there to teach Catwoman about her powers. Garbage, garbage, garbage, garbage, garbage! I'm willing to suspend belief for the movies, but come on, the cop matching her lipstick prints? The villain gaining super powers from tainted face cream? Watch this movie if you want to see how bad Hollywood can be. Just to be fair, Halle Berry looked great in leather and it was better than Daredevil .
