Heartstopper (2022)
Best LGBTQ+ teen show ever
I am 25 years old and loved every minute of Heartstopper. This show portrays such a healthy look on LGBTQ+ young romance. Nick and Charlie are such a good couple and the way the show deals with Nick finding out he's bisexual is such a fresh breath of air. Its not forced or overly sexualized. Charlie is great because he is able to guide Nick on his journey while also sticking up for himself against Ben. Tara, Darcy, Elle, Tao, Isaac, and Imogen are great supporting characters. The show explores Tara and Darcy's relationship really well. Elle and Tao are a great duo and have some great scenes together.
This is my new favorite LGBTQ+ teen romance show. I've already watched it 3 times. It gets better with every watch.
Dirty 30 (2016)
These three do it again!
I've been a big fan of the Holy Trinity (Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, and Mamrie Hart) for over 3 years. I've watched them all grow on YouTube into the hilarious adults they are today. Camp Takota was a pretty good film but Dirty 30 surpasses it by 120%. The jokes were really funny and witty, the edits of this film are a lot more woven together, and the acting was very good. This proves that new media is capable of coming up with creative and funny forms of entertainment. I firmly believe that deserving and hard working Youtubers such as Grace, Hannah, and Mamrie set an example for people that are to afraid to pursue their passion to actually try and become what they want to be in life. This is by far my favorite film to come out of any YouTuber. It's well directed, well shot, and has 3 hilarious people in it. I can't wait to see what these hilarious humans create in the future. Love ya mametown, Helbig, and Hannah. <3
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
My Favorite Marvel Movie So Far!
Hands down this is my favorite marvel movie so far. This exceeds the first Captain America by 1000%. The action was amazing, the plot kept me on the edge of my seat, and the CGI was perfect. This feels a lot more like an action/thriller than a superhero movie. I love that the superhero elements are not forced. They are still there but it feels like it's apart of the movie rather than an aid to the movie. I can't wait to see Civil War.
I highly recommend seeing Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Plot:10/10, Action:10/10, CGI/Scenery:10/10
I'm team Captain America all the way!
