Enola Holmes (2020)
Made for younger viewers
As an adult this is pretty boring and definitely not a mystery/detective film, but this film is ideal for kids between 8-13 (obviously depending on the child). The writing isn't great and most of the characters are annoying or dull. There are some sweet moments but, most of the story line jumps illogically and the plot is easily seen without thinking.
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
Not All Star Trek Has To Be The Same
So many reviews all say the same thing - it's not star trek. I've watched both the new and old star trek shows and what makes them star trek? Science, space and meeting alien life. Just because a show doesn't do what you want it to doesn't make it a bad show. And not gonna lie but, some of the so called classic star trek is boring.
The show is great and makes you invested in the characters. There is action but not excessive which makes Picard instantly better than Discovery. The only main issue I have with the show is the F bombs dropped by certain characters, it just doesn't suit their personality.
I know the show is being picked up for another season which to me seems very unnecessary given the way the first season ended. Personally I can't see where they would take a second season and I don't hold high hopes for it.
Frozen II (2019)
Cash grab
Very obvious crash grab by disney, there is basically no plot at all. Really shockingly bad release the trailers made it look so good.
Her (2013)
Interesting Concept
This film has a very interesting concept whilst some parts did make me question what I was watching, overall it is a great film. It highlights parts of what could happen in society if AIs were advanced enough to seem like humans and showcases how attached we may become to something that technically isn't alive. The film has some very meaningful moments making you think about what it means to be human and the differences between us and our tech assistants. I highly recommend giving this film a try.
I have to add a note about the video game character, they are amazing and very funny.
Doctor Who: Orphan 55 (2020)
New writers needed desperately
I used to love this show but it's getting worse and worse. I think all the critics must either be paid, blind or watching a different show.
The Last Czars (2019)
The accents
I'm sorry but if this is meant to be Russian so why are the actors using British accents? Other than that it's ok but it needs to make its mind up you can't be both a drama and a documentary, it doesn't work.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Good but not outstanding
The hype for this film was better than the actual film. Whilst it did pick up towards the end most of the time it was mediocre. There were plot holes that didn't make sense in the established MCU timeline. What they did with Thor's character could have been really good but it felt too forced. Another forced thing in this film was the all female fight scene and was a bit over the top. Although Valkyrie riding a Pegasus was amazing. I think the MCU would really benefit if they stopped putting so many jokes in their films and made them darker. Of course that'll never happen whilst they're under Disney.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Code Yellow (2019)
Wasn't Great
The parts with Deke were fun but other than that this episode was poorly written this season as a whole hasn't been great so far but after last weeks episode I thought oo yay the season is starting to pick up a bit, but no. This is the worst episode of the season so far.

Doctor Strange (2016)
Amazing Special Effects but that's it.
This film is incredibly pleasing to look at but not so much to watch. Whilst Benedict is an amazing actor it is just not shown here. The villain is weak, script is poor and some of the attempted humour is just not funny.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
One of the best films I've ever seen
It puts all of marvels other films to shame. This is truly incredible. I had my reserves because there was going to be so many people in it but it works. I need to see it again in the cinema.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
One of Marvel's Best Films to Date
With another installment from Marvel this film did not fail to amuse. The plot allows us to see the characters develop as a team as well as introduce so new members. The film has many references to the 1970s, MCU and Marvel comics in general, with the 5 post credits scenes there is a lot to take in. Stan Lee makes his cameo, not my favourite but definitely not the worse. The special effects in this film are amazing to say the least and the soundtrack gets me dancing. Can't wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3!
Logan (2017)
Shockingly good!
This film shocked me to the core after last years pretty bad X-men Apocalypse. It is a great last installment of Wolverine or Logan as he goes as in this film, and I know I'm going to miss his character. Hugh Jackman is amazing as ever in his character portrayal of Logan, and X- 23 was a lovable character of which I can't wait to see more of in the future. This film is well worth the watch.
Beauty and the Beast (2017)
Beautiful
This live action version of Beauty and the Beast was amazing. As one of my childhood favourite films I was worried when Disney announced they were going to remake it, but I had nothing to be worried about. Emma Watson portrayed Belle beautifully, and her singing was even better than the original. This film brought a new lease of life to this classic tale since watching it I can't stop singing the songs!
Fantastic Four (2015)
Don't Bother
This movie from the trailer looks absolutely amazing. However when it comes down to the actual movie it really disappointed me. The only real good thing about this film is the special effects (6/10), maybe Fox should have spent less time on effects and more time on the story line. The idea is great and really deserves a well made movie. I also enjoyed who they had cast for each role, but what they where given annoys me. Personally I think Marvel should have taken Fantastic Four back from Fox like they did with Spider-Man. If they do go ahead with the second film I won't be watching it. If you haven't seen this film already just putting it simply don't bother.
