The Witcher: The Cost of Chaos (2023)
What a lack luster finale
The direction of this finale is really quite poor the action scenes don't have a sense of weight due to the heavy use of cutting quickly. Especially the none Witcher fight scenes in the bar. If you hire stunt actors maybe let them do stunts and sell a fight rather than cutting away quickly after each hit. Really does feel like stunt coordinator was shackled by a poor vision from writers or director.
It is truly a shame that all of the actors have had to try their hardest to work with what the writers have cobbled together. Really feel like anyone who knows the source material should just avoid watching this show and keep your imagination and love of the Witcher intact.
The Witcher: Out of the Fire, Into the Frying Pan (2023)
I mean we get the point
Feel like they dragged this episode plot to last 50 minutes when it could have lasted 20. Just to get the season to end sooner so they can move on without Henry. As such a big fan of the books and the games it's truly such a shame to see what netflix has done. Couldn't be happier that they are cancelling family sharing as it will mean that I can finally cancel my subscription after 7 years of being a paying customer. Feel sorry for the writer of the books to see his work of art turned into mediocrity. Especially after he said that Henry was Gerelt in his eyes. Actors trying their best to work with poor writers and show runners is truly a shame.
For All Mankind: Bring It Down (2022)
It's meant to be for all mankind.
From season 2 the Danny storyline has been the worst part of the show. The fact that they continued on with him and made his story even more mind numbingly dull is unbelievable. We want a show about space and the difficulty of exploration. We wanted an alternative universe with more explanation rather than our own. Not a really really bad character drama when no one actually cares about that character. Also sort out Danny's brother. How can he not believe his parents are hero's when James town would have had cameras outside and in to show what they did. I was dreading if they were about to attack NASA all because they ruined his hairline and made him unable to talk to women.
Love, Death & Robots: Mason's Rats (2022)
A nice light hearted short
I didint know where it was going to end up but I'm happy with where it did. Felt like it was a pretty spot on episode for the title of the series... Love, death & robots.
Airplane Mode (2019)
Wasted an hour of my life to try and see FPS Russia that they cut out
I'm a huge fan of FPS Russia/Kyle in the infamous RSK AND PKA Gang. So I endured watching this terrible movie to you only come to the end and realise he was cut out. He was still credited however no sign of him at all. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined. If only I could turn back time and check on the pka subreddit to see if he was actually in it or not offer a timestamp. However I am a as idiotic and dumb as the makers of this movie.
