Pinocchio (2022)
Yeah, how about now.
The only reason I gave this movie a 2 was because of Tom Hanks. I'm not even sure if he really wanted to be in here in the first place. Man the movie had SO many missing parts from the original. And what's worse is they even added a song in there! Hey can anyone answer why they didn't put the actual ending in there? Why did they feel like they needed to leave one of the most important parts of the movie a "mystery"? Pinocchio becoming a real boy was a HUGE part of the cartoon! Well done Disney. Yet another childhood movie absolutely ruined. I feel like a bad parent for letting my children watch this atrocity.
Primal: Coven of the Damned (2020)
Perfect.
This episode (though the others are just beautiful) was my favorite for so many different reasons. It starts off with a very eerie feel and then falls into sheer terror. Durring this terror it begins to give you a sense of detachment and longing. You start to feel for something you didn't think you would. It takes a turn to an unexpected sentimental connection. Then ends with a savior who in death recieve the peace they'd longed for. It was beautiful through and through. And yes, though I tried my best, I couldn't stop the damn from breaking and tears rushing. Superbulous job to say the least.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
Broken Back Due to Heavy Shoulders!
This movie was carried by one person and one person only: Don Cheadle. If it weren't for him (and of course my kids) I wouldn't have given this movie a passing glance. It had potential "okay" moments that lasted a split second, only to be torn from poor writing, coattail riding, and whiney actors (LeBron James). Poor writing is just that: poor writing. However coattail writing speaks of the first one being so great that they banked on its success bringing this one good profits and supporting ratings. LeBron James, well he whines about everything (pay, politics, playing time, etc). I feel bad that Don had to carry this movie for a bad rating payout!
Warrior Nun: Revelation 2:10 (2020)
How this episode got an 8+ is beyond me!
I guess I'll make reviewer number 4. Wow, where to begin? Let's just start off with holes. Lots and lots of holes.
The episode had a stable start, but quickly began falling apart before our eyes. LITERALLY! The ladies bring the explosives just in case they needed to use them, so why didn't they use them after she had been in there for over 8 minutes?
The previouse episode, they notice the bones of the rare elements yet dont explain what exactly the reason is they were tapped there to begin with.
I feel as though they wanted to add that Adriel wasnt an angel as a last minute plot twist. They were like "dang, we should have thought of this in the beginning. Oh well, no time like the present." And then crammed it in as hard as they could with 25 minutes to go in the episode. Poor writing. Oh and let's get political why dont we. "All men do is lie." As though women are better.
The boy! If his face wasn't annoying enough, they had to give him the worst script and plot to go along with it. There's so much I could pick on with the boy, but let's just do the final scene. The boy freaks out about being in "prison" for what reason? And then obviously the mom had a massive grip on the boy, apparently the only thing that could make her let go is a pointlessly placed character saying how beautiful it was. "So beautiful, BUT DON'T GO IN THERE TO SEE JUST HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS!" Oh and there's another thing. She fallows her son to "save" him and actually makes it through before the portal closes, so why is she standing on the other side like a crying bumbling idiot? Just wow to that one!
All in all this was not a good show at all. It had major potential, but was thrown away with a pointless beginning, and a poorly put together end. Thanks for that total waste of time.
Bob the Builder: Mega Machines (2017)
The title song was WAY too long!
Oh and how is the movie "Troy" like "Bob the Builder"? Seriously, scroll down to the "similar to" or whatever it's called and you'll see Troy and other "like" films!
Mercy (2016)
What... Did... I... Watch???
Okay first things first, I give it negative stars. It now owes ME stars. Second WHAT WAS THE PREMISE ABOUT THIS MOVIE??? The kids (except one) want the mom to die, they cultish church doesn't. They break in to give her a cure to what? Cancer? Did I miss the part where they said what's killing her? And if it IS cancer, how the heck did they make the cure for it? They could have saved us ALL the trouble and had the pastor sneak in well before they all showed up!!! The father had to go grocery shopping sometime!!! They could have gone in then and cured her!!! My point is I have to be up at 6:30 for work, I could have watched a more deserved movie instead of waisting my time on that atrocity!
Dragonball Evolution (2009)
HOW???
I have been WAITING for this app to let me write a review, it FINALLY is allowing me to do it. I have always love dragon ball, DBZ and GT. Super is out and that's great as well. Akira Toriyama's mind is amazing for what he has done. If anyone thought this movie was his doing, they would be naive and haven't truly seen the series. This is an atrocity to all that is Dragon Ball. Acting is mediocre at best, the script sounds like it came from a 10 year olds dream when they try to make it cooler than it actually is. No one in this movie even resembled any of the characters from the series (Even though they FORCED it with Goku's hair) except for Yamcha, that's EXTREMELY agruable. HOW did James Wong even get the approval for this movie??? All in all, this was a sad excuse for Dragon Ball.
