Money Plane (2020)
The Trailer
Is it just me or was the trailer better than the movie?
The Sleepover (2020)
Goonies in away.
It's a Goonies in a way with so much else packed into it. The kids are really the stars in this flick. They did a great job.
The American Barbecue Showdown (2020)
Great and refreshing show
I love the premise. The 8 days straight is new and un heard of. I love the show overall. My only two suggestions. Same clothes? Who thought that was a good idea. I'm sure they are washed daily but come on. My second, Melissa is not a right fit for this. And apparently reading other reviews I'm not the only one. Read their reviews and it tells you everything you need to know. I sincerely hope there is a second season. Just with a different host. Rasheed was truly the gentleman and even keel guy. I loved him. I liked Shotguns enthusiasm. Sylvies keep nit togetherness and maintain reminded me of my grandmother. And Ms Pearls was fun but too much drama. I have named 4 out of the 8 that left an impression on me.
Benchwarmers 2: Breaking Balls (2019)
A hit to the nuts
After watching this, I also felt a hit to the nuts. A hit to the nuts for even choosing to watch this film.
Contact (2019)
Episode 1
I'm really trying to like the show but when they said Tampa Stadium , maybe due to belonging rights, that's Raymond James Stadium. The home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Then the shots of St Petersburg, I live there. I didn't recognize any of them.
Supernatural: Moriah (2019)
Wow
Wow, God/Chuck doesn't get his way as a script writing control freak and then has a temper tantrum. Now everyone has to pay the price.
The Umbrella Academy (2019)
Show-Awesome. Music-Even better.
This is an awesome show. Finally there is no perfect family with misfits and family drama while being superheroes. Real life. However, the music is amazing. No longer is the music an afterthought. The Soundtracks played are perfect for the scene they are used in. Not sure who the genius is behind the music, but BRAVO.
The Blacklist (2013)
Spader
Spader carries the show. Spader is the show. Amazing acting and always with ulterior motive. Most other characters are well rounded and likable. Keen, well it is always self inflicted with her character.
IO (2019)
Boring
For me, Netflix originals are a 50/50. Either really good or really bad. Not much middle ground. This particular film is the latter. It had a chance to be something but wasted the first hour plus building up without the follow through. Missing the high notes that could have been. I'm not sure if Netflix uses a test audience but if not, it may behoove them to do so.
