On the Verge (2021)
Love to hate it it Can't stop watching
Why are the husbands all such selfish jerks and the women so absolutely pathetic ? The only redeeming value is Elisabeth Shue and her character and Julie Deply when she's not near the husband, otherwise I keep watching to see if it gets better.
What We Do in the Shadows (2019)
Absolutely hysterical and brilliant
Love the writing and the acting is amazing in its delivery and wonderfully camp! I enjoy the cameos so wonderfully cast . So original.
Mozart in the Jungle (2014)
The most enchanting, entertaining and addictive show- sadly cancelled abruptly
One of the most original and entertaining series I've watched in a very long time. Why it was abruptly cancelled before the fans could get closure to so many beautifully told life stories? It is just heartbreaking. This was so original with its beautiful, intense music and behind the scenes look at the world of an orchestra and its inner workings. I truly felt as though I knew these characters and lived their triumphs and disappointments. This gem is a must see and I wish we could have gotten one last season to tie up the stories of all these interesting people that I had gotten to know so intimately.
The Umbrella Academy (2019)
Addicting AF
So without beating the dead horse that seems to be EVERY reviewers comment... WHY Ellen Page!? I can think of about 50 better actresses they could have chosen. But all that boring, dead eyed, emotionless, hack aside, this series has been a fun, ride al the way through. The soundtrack alone is worth the watch. But the story is great, all the other actors are a joy... I couldn't stop the binge. It was thoroughly entertaining! Loved it!
Paddleton (2019)
A very heartfelt story about friendship and loss
It started out slow but this story grew on me. It's about real life, the daily struggles we all go through, the boring routines, the things we deal with and the twist and turns that life throws at us. I cried like a baby. Ray Ramano and Mark Duplass were so believable and got me to really rethink life's gifts.
Travel Man: 48 Hours in... (2015)
