Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)
Not what I was expecting, it's much better!
The expectation that this film would be anything better than just ok never crossed my mine. My son told me right off "Don't look at the ratings". So I didn't look at any reviews, which is something I always do, but I figured the ratings were poor.
What a surprise this movie was. So much fun from start to finish!
In no way can you compare this movie to the Oscar winning Minus One and we all know it's not going to win any awards but this is why we go to the movies. This is why we love monster movies.
What an amazing experience this movie is. Guardians of the Galaxy meets the Monster Verse.
Something I have to admit is I've never been a Kong fan with the Legendary franchise but this movie changed that for me. Kong was great in this movie but I'm always a Godzilla fan.
Gojira -1.0 (2023)

Masterpiece! Now this is a Godzilla Movie!!!
I was lucky enough to see this in theaters and I highly recommend seeing in IMAX. This movie took me back to my childhood and I couldn't be any happier.
With that being said you could actually remove Godzilla from this movie altogether and it would be a very enjoyable and emotional film. The acting in this film is award winning and I wouldn't be surprised if it does win for best Foreign Film.
I grew up watching Godzilla monster movies as a kid and I've seen them all and I think we have a new winner in the house. Godzilla Minus One is a 10/10.
I hope you all enjoy it like I did...
Ahsoka (2023)
The Torch has been passed to Dave
Can't thank Dave Filoni enough for saving Star Wars!
Absolutely Brilliant!!
Don't get me wrong Andor is great and of course I love Mando but this feels like Star Wars.
From the camera angles to the non CGI animatronics this show is beautiful!
I understand some frustration from viewers who may not know the characters past if they didn't watch Star Wars Rebels but there's no reason only ignorance for putting a 1 or 2 for a rating. I really hope for all those reviewers who say I'm finally done watching Disney and won't watch another episode that they stick to their word so this show can maintain the ratings it should have but we all know your probably getting paid to write crap reviews.
I'm so excited to see where this show goes and I'm even more excited for Star Wars's future.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Go watch in theaters and decide for yourself.
Wow!! Truly a must watch and if you grew up watching Indy as I did, you will not be disappointed. James Mangold Directed a truly perfect addition to the Indiana Jones series. There's so many things I would like to mention but I do not want to spoil anything so I'm being careful what I say. I read so many reviews before I went to see it, many that were giving it bad reviews. Unfortunately we live in a time where there's so many people out there trying to affect the ratings of the shows and movies that it may keep us from going and enjoying these films the way they deserve to be watched.
Please go watch it!!!

Yes Yes Yes!!!
Sure. I agree that this season has been slower than the first but if you've ever watched a tv show before you must understand that the first season is designed to grab your attention and then the next is character development. In order for a show to survive you need interesting characters and you need to follow their journey. The pacing and writing has been very good as well. I hate to keep comparing this show to Lost (because the creators of Lost made this show) but it really brings me back to how I felt when I watched Lost.
So many twist and turns and just when you think something has been figured out here comes another plot twist.
I won't spoil anything for this episode but there was a scene with Boyd that's just WOW!
I'm so excited where this show is going.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023)
I was so excited for this movie and they had an opportunity to make it great but
Oh I was so excited for this and I wasn't even a Maximal fan. I'm a legitimate Generation One fan. I absolutely love Transformers the Movie from 1986 and was praying to see some throwback from that film. Ok yes Unicron is in this film and he is spot on but Bumblebee was absolutely fantastic and that opening scene!!! I guess I went into the theater's hoping this was going to be more like the Bumblebee movie but instead it was more Michael Bay.
Over all it was a good movie with excellent CGI scenes. Action sequences were fantastic and the 90s music was greatly used as well.
Noah was better than expected but I did not love what he transformed into later in the film.
And that surprise ending??? Say what? Well I won't ruin it. Please go enjoy this film in theaters...

This is why you don't rely on bad reviews
Unfortunately we live in a world where everyone believes they are a critic. The poor reviews is the reason I decided to write something about this show. Not every episode is going to be climactic and full of excitement. There needs to be a story and character development.
This episode is exactly that. It continues to take us on the journey and like Lost the show is going to be a roller coaster ride.
I can't wait to see where this show goes and I'm hoping enough people watch and enjoy so that the show can continue. I'm not sure if everyone understands putting a bad rating can actually affect the future of a show.
8/10.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 22: Guns for Hire (2023)
Only True Star Wars fans will rate this episode at a 10
I get that many out there will not understand how amazing this season is. That probably explains the lower ratings this season but "Common Man" are you not watching what I'm watching?
This is classic Star Wars and I'm loving it.
Thank you David Filoni for including the Clone Wars into this show. Your absolutely a genius!
Can't thank John Favreau enough as well for his writing on these episodes.
This latest episode "no spoilers" includes classic characters and some famous celebrities that just made this episode so much more enjoyable.
Please keep doing what your doing with this show. I could watch episodes like this all day long.
The Last of Us: Look for the Light (2023)
One word "PERFECT"
I wish we were allowed to write one word reviews because for this episode it would be that it's PERFECT.
I mean this sincerely! Just amazing!
I was not a believer before this series aired. I thought to myself "why"? Why would they try and make this into a TV show. It's perfect as is. Well I was wrong and I was wrong about how I felt about Bella playing Ellie. She is Ellie...
This entire show has been outstanding from beginning to end.
It was great to see Ashley Johnson in this episode and especially hear her voice. For those who may not k ow Ashley played Ellie in the Last of Us part 1 and 2 video games.
I'm sure we will see plenty of negative reviews but for me this episode is the same for the entire season 10/10.
Shrinking: Apology Tour (2023)
Writing for this show is outstanding!!!!
First I would like to comment on some of the other reviews for this episode. Bad writing??? This show alone doesn't deserve a 1 it deserves a 10.
Every episode including this one is heart felt and superbly written!!! Bravo clap clap!!! Well done!
This show is as good or better than Ted lasso. In my opinion of course.
The acting in this episode is outstanding and someone will earn an Emmy out of this bunch.
Love this show with a passion and every episode feels like a very well written romantic comedy...
Please stop with the negativity and give this show the ratings it deserves.
Can't wait for the next episode.....
His Dark Materials: Æsahættr (2020)
The end is only the beginning
This may not be the most climatic finale but it completes season 2 gracefully and opens the door to an exciting season 3. I thought this episode was very moving and well scripted. I can't wait to see where it goes next. I wish the season was longer and hope we don't have to wait too long for the next season.
The Passing (2019)
SHOCKED by how good this is
This film was created with an iPhone? Amazing! Brilliant young Actresses and a stunning performance by Ms Bell. Hard to believe this was their first film. Can't wait to see what Basinger Films creates next.
