Nice turn on a strange premise! Good actors, bonkers story and a lot of Class A Action! Everybody who loves good action should watch this!

Acting: 5 of 10 (maybe Aussi A List but i didnt knew anybody)
Sound: 5 of 10 (blend soundtrack with a lot of dramatic tunes)
Overall: 6 of 10
This movie doesnt justifys a dedicated cinema visit but if you find this in your Streaming Catalogue and if you are into action scifi like "Independence Day" this movie ist definitely for you. I am a scifi fan and enjoyed watching it.

Fun Zombie Flick with awesome Soundtrack!

Great cast, great cinematography and the music is perfect. The only negative thing is a flat story like in a videogame. And props to Snyder for discovering lively colors! No more desaturated pictures like Sucker Punch or the Justice Legue Triology. If you want a fun action packed movie this is the flick for you!

If you like Videogames you also will like this Flick. Perfect mix of Drama, VFX, Martial Arts and Iconic Oneliners. My only complain is that the main theme was played first very late in the movie ;)! Warner is rocking right now, after Godzilla vs Kong and instant Streeming, they are on the right track!

Its a mixup between Madmax and The 100. The production value is high the actors are okay but the story is quite blend and full of boring interludes! But the biggest problem of the show (for me as german nativ speaker) is that they switch between english and german in the original dub. I also watched other dubs for comparison and they didn´t do that there. Why ? In Dark everything was German and the other Dubs where in other languages.

First of all: I didnt watched the trailer! I watched the movie. In the mittle of the movie i understand that they try to make it uncanny if its an drug induced halluciantion /mental illness or a failed future science experiment. But what the movie needed some kind of closure. But it didnt! If i read the high reviews which praise the movie of portraiing loosing control, becoming homeless, addiction and mental illness i was suprised. With this argumentation i also can say Harry Potter is also portraiing mental illness , harry is only imagining becoming a wizard becaus he is abused by his uncle who put him living under the stairs!
Nope its not a good movie! Nope it is not good in showing what is reality and whats not! You can say its a scifi experiment or you can say its about drugs and mental illness!
If this was the intention of the filmmaker, fine! But this fact makes the movie not good. Its low average and only because of Hyek , Wilson and Billy Nyle.
If somebody found spelling mistakes: Keep them! I was angry after watching this movies and reading the reviews!

Like Rodriguez other Kids Movies (Spykids, Sharkboy & Lavagirl) this is another perfect installment for kids from 3 to 10 . Its funny , light hearted and also show the importance of teamwork.
But its also fun for adults because its an very ironic turn on superhero movies, that also gave me a few good loughs. Bottomline its fun movie for the whole family.

I only gave 4 Stars because of the cool Concept going forward and backwards in time! But except massive setpieces and awesome innovative actions scenes there is no real story worth telling. Also the structure is too confuseing for a feature movie. The concept would be better for a tv show.

Dont let the comments fool you! The movie plays with the fact that the traumatised protagonists see ghosts of their past. The premis of the movie was better the the result. It trys to be critical to the social impact of migration but sells it for cheap jump scares. If it had only a little of Cubricks Shining it would have been a 10 out of 10. But the story is lackluster. But on the bright side the cast is very good. But they only can deliver what the script is giving them. But what can i say its free on your Netflix subscription so watch it if you are boared. But it is nothing that you should pay specificly!

The Best Show nobody ever wanted!

Karate Kid was good. The Squels were forgettable. And the coolest thing from the Smith reboot was Jacky Chan. But Cobra Kai blew my socks of. It flips the original story upside down. Who are the good guys, who are the villains. Like in real life thats not always as clear als in the movies. The world is only a different shade of grey. Good people make bad decisions and bad guys are not happy with the path they took. Everey nerd also can be a bully and every bully can be a victim. Its always a matter of perspective. And thats the reason why the show is so great. It shows the diversity of live mixed up with some bonkers karate and japanese attitude! A must watch for every teenager and people like me who grew up with the 80s tropes!

Interessting and unsettling at the same time!

Its a new and different turn on scifi based on the real divides we experience today. The base plot is simple and could be written by a teenager: Religious Fundamentalist vs Science Fundamentalists! But that what makes the show interesting is the complexity of the characters and the innovative production design. You get a clear vibe from Alien and Prometheus but also mixed with Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven. It looks like Ridley Scott put everything in blender and created something completely new. I am looking forward to many episodes!

For me the show is an anthology series like Outer Limits, Amzing Storys or Love Sex Robots but trapped in an boring syfi setting. I like the storys and the motives but the show promises a meaningfull overall arct that just doesnt happen. After season 1 i just dont know what to do with it!

... its an okay movie that tells a story that was told a hundert times before since Cameron filmed The Abyss. Dont buy the Blueray, dont go to the cinema for it. Watch it if its for free on a streaming service or in your cable- or sattelite programm.

I am a big Noah Hawley and i love his other projects from Legion till Bones. That was the reason why i gave the movie a chance. Its interresting how its possible to screw up a movie that stars John Hamm and Natalie Portman. In my oppinion the movie already fails in its idea. Even the production value as well as the actors are not able to compensate that flaw. I only can recommend not wasting your time with it. its better to have a rerun of Fargo or Legion instead.

I am totally surprised why this show gets such a high rating. Okay, the acting is not bad but everything else is not really worth watching. Lets start with the characters: They are really bland and very unreallistic stereotypes, who were stolen from a 90s teeny show! I personally cant relate to any of them. I know its hard to be in puberty and i know young adults do a lot of stupid things, but what happened in this show is beyond believe. The whole story is so over the top and unrealistic. I really wanted to like this show, because the topic is very important. But its not possible, i just wanted it to end! And finally, the only reason why Hannah Baker killed herself in the first episode was to get out of this show!
