Warrior Nun (2020)
Such a good show
Like many of the reviews have talked about, season one is a little slower, but a fantastic set up for season two. Every show needs a little time to find its footing and Warrior Nun is no exception. Not to say season one isn't good, because it is. Season two just takes it over the top. The fight sequences are amazing and the cinematography is stunning. You will not be disappointed if you give the show a chance. The scenery is a character in and of itself. There is a bigger story here than just nuns who kick butt. This is a spoiler free review so all I can say is put it on, get a snack and enjoy the ride.
The Rookie: Feds (2022)
Writing is lazy
Writing is weak- somehow the lead always has the right info without any credible reason, nothing believable or clever.
I wanted to like this, as I enjoy The Rookie, but this just doesn't cut it. Only reason I gave it two stars is that the concept was decent and the more veteran actors bring it up a star.
Felix, James and Britt all have their work cut out for them if they want to make this a success. I will give this a few more episodes as I really hope they can succeed. Unless you really like The Rookie or are fans of the actors in this series, I would not recommend this. Right now this show just feels forced as they wanted to cash in on the success of the original series.
Much Ado About Nothing (2012)
Watch it if you like the Buffyverse
Love Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Tom Lenk, Nathan Fillion, Ashley Johnson and Clark Gregg. It was interesting enough, but I mostly watched it because of the actors.
Sex/Life (2021)
Enjoyable for what it is
Watch this for what it is and enjoy it! Love Sarah Shahi- I've seen her in about everything she has done, but if you are watching Sex/Life for the outstanding storyline...you are in the wrong place. Know what you are getting into before you start then watch and enjoy.
