Meh. Still scratching my head over the idea of how someone thought this was worth making a movie of.

Horrible acting, horrible dialogue, horrible everything.
11 August 2018
I couldn't make it through the first ten minutes. Had to stop it and find something else to watch. Forced dialogue, terrible acting. I really have trouble believing that anyone in the first ten minutes of episode 1 has ever acted before. It was as if ghey were reading lines they had never seen before from cards. I love this genre. I was looking forward to binging the whole series. I'm not hard to please. This was just to bad to watch. Big disappointment.

Revisionist propaganda
29 July 2018
This is a well made, yet intentionally misleading propaganda flick, posing as an honest documentary. It is intended to create the false perception that, instead of being invaders who were finally driven out after centuries of oppressive occupation, Muslims were somehow unjustly driven out and their influence erased. Now imagine invading hordes have suddenly taken over your country and suppressed your native cultural and religious ideologies by penalty of tortured death. Then, after centuries, you drive them out. Who wouldn't purge the land of evey trace of their attempted cultural upheaval? Its no conspiracy... They were just oppressive invaders who were driven out. Now its happening again, and propaganda like this is part of the plan.

Waste of time. Fake documentary. Bad actors with badly faked Slovene accents
19 July 2018
55 minutes of boredom. Might have been mildly amusing as a 15 minute mockumentary, but they went all in with stupid for 55 minutes. Couldn't finish watching. Skipped ahead several times. Native english speakers pretending to be Slovenians with poorly faked stereotypical Dracula accents. Even if you like campy stuff, you'll hate this.

Literally, the absolute WORST movie I've ever seen
19 July 2018
Vampire and werewolf movies are my favorite kind of movies. There are lots of really crappy movies in the genre, so I've seen quite a few really bad ones, but this one is easily 10 times as ridiculously bad as the next worst. There is literally no redeeming feature in this steaming, wet, turd of a flick. Nobody involved in the entire production did a good job of anything. Everyone associated should find a new career in an unrelated field and never be allowed to return to a job in any part of the entertainment industry. I recommend that nobody ever watch this, even if offered money or sexual favors for doing so. I wish that I could unwatch it. I played computer solitaire while watching it for free, and still hated it enough to write this long, silly ass review just to warn you. The only reason I got through it was because I couldn't find the remote to watch something else. I tried to leave the room, but was forced to return to keep my rottweiler from stealing the giant bag of crunchy cheetos which I had left behind in my haste. I threw things, in futile hope of knocking the tv off of its stand so that I could end the misery. Oh, the horror.

a few giggles. very forced feeling
15 July 2018
Don Knotts will always be funny, but this show was a bad idea. And besides being built like the proverbial brick $#!+ house, I have no idea what anybody sees as talent in Joey Heatherton. She sounded horrible, and thats pretty bad considering the fact that her "performance" was lip synced. I can only imagine that ol' Don or one of the producers put her in to get into her pants. Watch this only if its free and you are bored with few choices.

Its an 80's slapstick comedy tv show. What were y'all expecting?
15 July 2018
The idea that some reviewers came to an 80's slapstick comedy tv show looking for a work of art in acting and plot devices is laughable. Who TF cares?! Its a light hearted escape with a few giggles. That's all its intended as. If you were looking for great artistry, and ended up here, that's on you for being an idiot. Its just fun and stupid for no reason, and that's how its meant to be. Lighten up.

Pretty good, after the first third goes by.

I didn't like it at first. Got a lot better though, once the action started. Camera work didn't make it look very real. Momoa did a a great job, once the action started.

A shame of a sham
4 June 2018
This movie pretends to be a documentary, but is full of half truths, outright lies, and Hendrix's "words" are mostly fictionalized. For instance, the section on his abrupt military career is mostly favorably fictionalized. He was NOT honorably discharged, but was booted out for malingering and truancy*. I'm a huge fan of his music, but truth is truth.

good story, great action, worst acting ever
19 December 2016
Horrendous acting quality ruined what could have been a very entertaining movie. dialogue exchange was so painful, I could imagine crapping a box full of razor blades to be more entertaining. A shame, considering the comfortable story line combined with excellent action sequences could have made for something that passes as entertainment, otherwise. Jean-Pierre Castaldi and Tim Roth are the closest things in the movie to an exception, otherwise every other so called "actor's" delivery of the dialogue reminded me of a bad middle school drama club presentation. The sets were at least adequate. The only reason that I pained myself to watch the whole movie though is that the fight scenes were somewhat entertaining. In fact, I ended up reading a book during many of the scenes, as the rest of the movie wasn't even worth my time.
