Geçen Yaz (2021)
Pleasently Done
Story with its own pace.
Locations were real good but except the leads, the supporting actors weren't really of that same impact. There's nothing that stood out but seems nothing needed to.
Executed Pleasently.
Honey Boy (2019)
Awestruck by the Story & Portrayal.
It'll simply make you cry, smile, wonder, sad, angry, cry again, smile again and leave you exhilarating at last like a war drama.
No matter how vulnerable it leave Shia, i am really thankful to him for sharing a piece of him that played a great part in his life.
And Lucas Hedges, Noah Jupe both did justice to their roles. Even Shia Labeouf himself undoubtedly.
Lucas Hedges's rage, that tension resonates his hard work for this role and he immaculately shine just like the co-star Noah Jupe, who you could really see achieving his best through every second's performance.
Shia's underrated, in fact, he's one of the most underrated actor of my generation. I've noticed him after Lawless and this man bring a different, another level of everything that his character requires. From Fury to American Honey to Peanut Butter Falcon to this right here, A Gem For A Movie.
i always thought why Shia seems to be on the edge every time.
Now i get it.
Don't judge a man, man. You only know what you're going through, no one else.
Photograph (2019)
It moves you.
It's like you already know what's going to happen and you still want to see it.
Sanya Malhotra & Nawaz gave one of their best performances, sanya especially.
It's so easy to fall in love with this drama.
Triple Frontier (2019)
It's something that you've never seen before.
It's starts like any other heist movie.
But it's not, so please, don't expect anything ordinary.
Open yourself up for some surprises, everytime everything doesn't go according to the plan, it's just one of those times.
Mile 22 (2018)
Mark Wahlberg is extraordinary. 😁
He put on quite a show with that rubber band.
You can always expect something different and something extraordinary every time he hit the screen.
Brilliant.
Stella's Last Weekend (2018)
Great acting by brothers.
Alex and Nat both acted really well.
A great watch.
October (2018)
Brilliant.
It's just about innocence and love, for anyone or for everyone.
So happy to see, a movie like this in Bollywood by an actor who never disappoints.
At some level, this movie will affect you, and i can bet on that.
Sanju (2018)
You need to see it.
So, I forcefully assumed that it is going to be a bad movie.
Then movie started, within 10 minutes i felt that urge to choose different.
But, i stayed where i was.
After just 15 min, actually without knowing,i started to like this movie. That assumption was clearly wrong.
I was having so much fun, I really can't explain.
Ranbir Kapoor is really a precious gem of our Bollywood, can't deny it. His performance was exceptional.
Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal was exceptional, too.
Can't forget Jim Sarbh, the king of negative roles nowadays. His aura is something different, really.
Raj Kumar Hirani, a salute to him, for portraying these phases of Sanjay Dutt, which consists so many problems and difficulties, in a really funny way.
Hostiles (2017)
Christian Bale performance is breathtaking.
It's just amazing to see how easily he can change scenery within a second. The kind of acting you can't really learn.
Amazingly portrayed role.
Rosamund Pike has done a great job.
Ben Foster, what can i say. He really can do any type of role.
He can be villian, he can be hero, supporting actor, anything.
A great movie to watch, honestly.
You Were Never Really Here (2017)
I loved it.
Well, i have to say this.
I watched it just because of Joaquin Phoenix & the poster was, indeed, alluring.
I really expected something different and it was. The reason why i loved it.
It was slow for a person who craves for modern day pace in movies.
Just a simple story of a man, Joe, Really Bad for Good.
Shot Caller (2017)
By far The Best Of This Year(for me)!!
So let me tell you that there is nothing better this year for me like Shot caller. Maybe its because I like Nikolaj Coaster-Waldau from the first episode of Games of Thrones or I like Jon Bernthal from Fury or maybe, I was impressed by the young actor Emory Cohen from the Detour. I'm not going to elaborate anything here, if you're really reading this. You got to see this movie, there's no better way to put it. I never had slightest of doubt in Nikolaj that he can do any kind of role, I think, really anything. The script was just mind blowing, you cannot guess (that's the biggest thing.) This is one of my first review for any movie and I really think its going to make you write one, too. I am really thankful to Ric Roman Waugh for even thinking of something different like this. Have fun :)
