Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend (2022)
A misfired tribute
The 2022 film "Lamborghini" attempts to roar into the hearts of car enthusiasts and cinephiles alike, but instead, it stalls at the starting line due to a multitude of cinematic missteps. At the forefront of these issues is the remarkably poor performance of the actors. Rather than bringing depth and nuance to their characters, the cast delivers lines with all the enthusiasm of a Monday morning traffic jam, leaving audiences disconnected and disinterested.
Equally underwhelming is the screenplay, which can best be described as anemic. The narrative lacks the torque needed to drive the story of such an iconic figure and brand. It meanders through plot points with little coherence, failing to engage or enlighten. This lack of direction in the script is mirrored in the film's overall production quality, which feels more akin to a budget TV special than a feature film celebrating the legacy of Ferruccio Lamborghini.
The direction, or rather the lack thereof, exacerbates these issues, turning what could have been a compelling biopic into a disjointed series of scenes lacking in vision and finesse. The director's inability to harness the potential of the story or its characters leaves the film feeling like a prototype that should have gone back to the drawing board.
Perhaps the most glaring flaw, however, is the film's failure to adequately explore the rich history and legacy of the Lamborghini brand. Viewers hoping to gain insight into the innovation and passion behind the legendary cars will find the narrative frustratingly superficial. The film is riddled with gaps and oversimplifications that do a disservice to the complex history of the automaker and its founder.
In conclusion, "Lamborghini" is a cinematic misfire that fails to capture the essence or excitement of its subject matter. With its lackluster acting, poor script, subpar production, and directionless direction, the film serves as a cautionary tale of how not to craft a biopic. Instead of a sleek, high-performance vehicle of storytelling, audiences are left with a lemon that's unlikely to find many admirers.
Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street (2023)
There are lot of things to be investigated
*Spoiler alert*
In my opinion, Bernie's sons were murdered. DiPascali as well. They knew too much. SEC wasn't just mistaken; they did not the adequate job on purpose, and of course they received for that. I'm talking about bribery. The Ponzi Scheme was, in fact, a huge money laudering scheme wich attended multi-millionaires (even multi-billionaires) involved in drug trafficking, gun smuggling, corruption of politicians, etc. Maybe even Madoff was murdered in prison. US high authorities know the true. Revealing the true could turn into a massive scandal involving powerful people who dictates the paths of America's politics and economy.
