Only for One Night (2016)
Who on earth...
...shows up to their brother-in-law's funeral wearing that? The dress was gorgeous, but the neckline went down to her navel and covered very little of her chest, that seems kind of inappropriate.
Other reviews have discussed the other inconsistencies of this terrible movie at length. I chose to focus on this one.
Dark Places, Deadly Illusions (2021)
At least half an hour too long
This movie isn't different from any other cheap, Lifetimesque thriller Netflix offers. Bad script, mediocre acting, gaping plotholes... We got the full package; but truth be told, we saw it coming from a mile away. What I can't forgive is the length: almost two hours of my life just so the director could show me a a collection of supposedly "erotic" (and in reality really lame) scenes? What a waste.
Fleabag: Episode #2.4 (2019)
Answer to the question in the review "Anachronism"
The Priest doesn't know Dad and Godmother very well, they're not members of his parish. He met them quite recently through Claire and Martin, because Jake is a member of the church's little orchestra.
Fantastic episode, btw. An unexpected and touching glimpse of Fleabag's heart.
Slasher.com (2017)
A film student's midterm project... which didn't get a passing mark.
I gave it three stars because, out of the two plot twists at the end, one was actually unexpected and turned what seemed to be a typical "cabin in the woods" plot into something relatively interesting. Everything else was garbage: the acting, the music, the effects... Kid probably got an F.
Secret Obsession (2019)
What the hell did I just watch
Most of the reviewers have already addressed what's wrong with this movie (basically everything): terribly lazy plot, bad acting, gaping plot holes. I'll just point out that the detective finding out what Jennifer's maiden name was thanks to her tattoo was probably the stupidest thing I've seen in a long, long time. And that's coming from someone who watches crappy movies as a hobby.
The Toybox (2018)
Whaaaaaaaaat...
... a complete waste of time. Boring plot we've all seen before, awful acting, absolutely ridiculous. 10/10 reviews are ironic. Save yourself and go watch something else.
