Tell-Tale (2009)
a B category film
Well the movie is not great, but not the worst there is. Terry, is a single dad, taking care of his 10 year old daughter Angela who is suffering from a rare disease, Terry himself being recovering after a heart transplant. Step by step he notices changes in his behavior and actions, and his pulse starts to accelerate when he encounters some people at the clinic he had the transplant. He also has flashbacks and memories of the one who donated the heart. After making some research on his own, he finds that his donor was murderer during a possible robbery, but the suspects were never found. Putting things together, he realizes that 4 employees from the clinic were involved in murdering his donor and he starts to take revenge against them, being lead by his heart impulses. The action is quite thrilling, but the lines are dull, and some scenes maybe too gore. Well.. that's almost it, the end is quite surprising leaving the audience in doubt.
The Midnight Meat Train (2008)
really comedy or horror?
C'mon guys, can u even get scared or surprised watching this movie? The storyline is just crap, bradley cooper is a night photographer who takes pictures and watch carefully how he shakes the camera when he shoots. As a technical information, all of his pictures should have been blurry. OK, let's analyze the movie. One guy looking like a wrestler butchers people in a train, carefully taking off their clothes and keeping them in bags, for what reason? An in the whole city is just one cop solving the murders, also involved in the butchering story?! There were no other cops trying to solve the disappearance of hundreds of people? This is just stupid. The horror scenes are just comic scenes. I can only remember one, when Ted Raimi aka Joxer the Mighty from "Xena warrior princess", a hilarious guy actually, gets smacked in the head with a hammer and his eye pops off his head. That was just too funny, I was starting to wonder if it is a horror movie or a comedy? OK, furthermore bradley cooper chases the serial killer, just to find out in the end that all the meat was just food for some ridiculous creatures living in the underground, and that he was the new, better, upgraded butcher, who must continue the bloody work of smashing people's faces with a hammer to feed the creatures. that is just crap.. Propably the ones enjoin this movie are 12 year olds or the ones that are still scared of lots of red ink.
Watchmen (2009)
disappointing
I saw the trailer in December 2008 and just waited for the movie to be released. But after I saw it i was so disappointed. The so called superheroes have really no superpower except the blue dude.. the only thing that makes the film worth watching is the special effects which really rock. The movie tends to be boring sometimes with dull dialogs like the one silk specter has with Dr Manhattan on mars trying to convince him to save the planet. The movie has the same idea as " The day the earth stood still" and at some point you just wish for the movie to end, the duration is way too long. The lines are quite hilarious sometimes and the action is kind of childish. Silk spectre and Nite Owl look like batman and robin clones, they ride a silly ship that looks like a giant jellyfish.. And in the end Dr Manhattan sacrifices his honor and one of his friends for world peace.. World Peace..sounds like miss congeniality.. The movie is quite a waste of time, except the effects that remind you of the movie "300" It could have been such a good film if the director had more imagination. Despite the rate it has on IMDb, the movie has nothing spectacular or breathtaking.
Vampires: Los Muertos (2002)
A very disappointing movie
This movie is one of the most awful movies ever made. How can Jon Bon Jovi play in a movie? He is a singer not an actor, What?Is he killing vampires with his guitar? And what about the dreadful plot? O my God this movie really sucks. In the end is the Queen of vampires played by the eternal vampire Arly Jover (Blade) surrounded by an army of vampires, but when the "fantastic" slayers arrive only 4 vampires are left!! What happened with the other 10-15 vampires? They run out in the sun??? And what about the "Grand Finally" when Bon Jovi blows her head with a shotgun??? That's really a "NOT" . In "Buffy the vampire Slayer" in 100 episodes not a single vampire is killed with A SHOTGUN??? This really is a lack of originality!
