The Inheritance (1997 TV Movie)
Simple and Sweet Story
18 June 2006
I've seen this movie about 5 or more times, and it never ceases to touch me. I'm a huge fan a Louisa May Alcott (Little Women is one of my all time favorite books). So it greatly surprised me that I enjoyed the movie better then the book. The movie was well done, sticking to the book, but also changing a few details. They changed enough details to improve the over all story, but not enough to create a whole new story. For fans of the book, there's no reason that you won't enjoy this film. This movie presents a simple, sweet, and at times moving story. Edith is a 'servant' in the Hamilton's house. A Young Women of character, something that's so rare these days. The actors do a great job portraying there roles. Scenery for this movie is breath taking. Definitely worth every penny you spend to buy it.

The Magic of Ordinary Days (2005 TV Movie)

An Excellent Family Movie
11 June 2006
In a day and age when movies are often filled with profanity, sexual content, and violence, along comes a gem like this one. The whole family can watch this film without worrying about "content". Skeet Ulrich and Keri Russell do a wonderful job acting in this movie, and the supporting cast is excellent. The story revolves around a young women (Russell), who's pregnant out of wed lock, and is forced into an arranged marriage with a farmer (Ulrich), during World War II. This movie also teaches a few life lessons, such as forgiveness, and the difference between sex and love. An enjoyable way to spend a hour and a half of you're time. You won't regret watching this film.

Sweet and Charming Movie....
11 June 2006
Well it's not the best movie ever, nor is the plot extraordinary, it is a very sweet and at times charming movie. Katie Holmes does a great job playing Samanatha, a sweet and respectful young lady. And Marc Blucas is equally as good in the role of James. I could go on about the cast, which all played their roles well, but I won't. While at times the movie is a bit choppy, not flowing from scene to scene, it's still enjoyable to watch. While the movie is a bit of a fairy tale, it also shows the ugly side of being the presidents daughter. If you're into fairy tales, and romantic comedies it's worth seeing, and a movie that both mothers and their daughters can enjoy. The movie never manages to loose you're interest, and you may even want to watch it again.
