Designs for Revenge (2020)
WHY DOESN'T THIS MOVIE HAVE AN ENDING?
This movie was going pretty well, despite the husbands terrible acting. In any event I was interested and then I kind of figured out that it was the famous fellow designer. So the story is moving along and when they reach the ending, the only solution is when the antagonist is killed. We dont know if the couple was going to stay in the house or not, I think her friend was murdered but the main character didn't have minute to grieve and then they show the wife wake up looking for her husband (the antagonist), and she keeps asking where he is. The nurse tries to answer her but just then the scene cuts and goes to commercial and the credits go up. What the heck?! The basically, no ending to this movie.
Driven to Murder (2022)
RIDICULOUS!
There I was waiting to find out the killers reason for targeting her, and... nothing! Literally no reason given. We never find out who he is, why he did what he did, or why he continued after her allowing her to live and killing everyone around her. During the events, she not once asked who he was or why he was doing what he was doing. This movie was poorly written! Viewers dont even bother! Ridiculous!
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
LOVED IT
This movie was without a doubt society's revenge on the Manson family freaks for what they did to their victims! God bless Quentin! I cried bittersweet tears at the end, wishing that the end is what had really happened.
Designated Survivor (2016)
What the hell happened?
First season was the best, second season still good. Then we were excited to start watching "our show" (my family) on Netflix and all of a sudden - we were watching:
1. weak story line
2. President on the toilet for Godsakes!
3. Listening to gratuitous cursing!
4. We have no issues with gay community however the gratuitous sex scene was the icing on the cake. C'mon now.. whatever happened to just leaving things to the imagination.
Just stop trying to be soooo politically correct and go back to same formulas as in first two seasons. We want to see a gripping tale and story line of intrigue.
Keep in mind, many of us use to watch 24 and are Kiefer Sutherland fans from that and before. Just let his character be tough (as only Kiefer can do) and principled.
Unplanned (2019)
Unplanned movie
OMG! Extremely moving.. Rivoting!
I'v always known what abortion does, I've always known I was prolife and I've imagined what it must be like to be a clinic worker. However this movie was very explicit in regards to how it really is. I would say to everyone.. this movie is a MUST WATCH!
Death of a Nation (2018)
A SHOCKER
This movie shows the shocking reality of the American Democratic party. Any African American, Jew or any American who loves their freedom, should see this movie. A must watch!
Where Is Kyra? (2017)
Great Actors, Bad Director!
Although the movie was very slow, the acting was superb!
However, every time a scene depicting upset or possible manic behavior by Kyra would happen, the director
Thought it was his responsibility to play this horrible sound like nails on a chalk board, literally. Instead of depressed violin or bass or even piano, he chose weird non musical ear piercing sounds that took away from the movie! My family and I will not be watching anymore Andrew Dosunmu films. And the last scene was absolutely ridiculous - non climatic and a complete show stopper.. again, the fault of the director. Other than these, again, the acting by both was excellent!
Forsaken (2015)
Preview
This film has everything for the true Western aficionado.
First off, Kiefer Sutherland hands in a virtuoso performance as John Henry Clayton. Although far from the beloved Jack Bauer character from TV's 24 fame, this character is quite the bad-ass in his own right - with the reputation to prove it. The younger Sutherland's role spans a broad range of emotions. At once, frustration and sadness due to a violent past - to tenderness, romantic regret, and vengeful rage - he is not your typical cowboy.
Donald Sutherland is a cinematic tour de force as the former gunslinger's bitter yet ultimately forgiving preacher father is yet another triumph for this veteran actor. This father and son team has found the perfect project for their on screen debut together.
Demi Moore gives a tender performance as Clayton's former love, now married with children to a decent, hard-working husband who is jealous of her romantic past with Clayton.
Michael Wincott's turn as a highly-principled gun-for-hire is the perfect antidote for the local land baron's unruly gang of violent thugs.
Finally, Brian Cox is his usual superb self, providing us with a classic villain who is a perfect fusion of Gene Hackman's merciless and cold-blooded Little Bill character from Clint Eastwood's "Unforgiven" - and Michael Douglas's greedy financier, Gordon Gekko from "Wall Street." Finally, the breathtaking cinematography is reminiscent of the backdrop for previous classic films, "Shane" and "Dances With Wolves". This outstanding film is destined to take its place in the annals of great American Westerns.
