"Congrats"
15 January 2022
I can't deny that, as I watched this with my sister, we both felt nostalgic. We talked about our own experiences, for example the day we went to the cinema to see The Philosopher's Stone.

However this felt like a long conversation of (mostly) 3 friends going on about how much fun they had as child actors and how unique their connection is. All I could think most of the time was "okay, congrats". I have beautiful bonds with childhood friends but don't film a documentary about it.

I know this is part of what made HP great (the bonding, the love) but I really thought there would be more to it - more interesting anecdotes, deleted scenes, things we did not already know or had not already seen. I felt like it was just people talking about a great experience they had. It felt like it was done for them rather than for us.

I enjoyed the general feeling I had while watching but I wanted more. I just can't quite put my finger on it.

Loved it, but...

My God the actors who potrayed the VIP people cannot act. I cringed everytime they said a line. It felt like they were just reading them. Even the intonation was off. It was like when we were kids and had to read a play in class and we exagerated the intonation. Terrible, just awful.
