A really cool action/crime flick that raises questions if theres a right to wrong and if there are motives that justify woringdoing for both police and criminals.

The fight scenes r beautifully choreographed, i really liked the dynamic between saif ali khan and radhika apte - the way their marriage was depicted was really nice to watch. The characters are all multi faceted and it is very interesting to see how the story evolves and theres noone who is just good or just bad.

The dialogues r great and the whole cast gives stellar performances.

A great film! I really recommend it. Cant wait to see more.

Aaaaand another bad movie from marvel. Are there any good ones at all i may ask? While pb1 had nice action sequences and beautiful costumes and sets, a flawless soundtrack, really great acting with captivating characters and an almost interesting story this movie now is a total bust imo. It is beyond boring and i dont understand why its almost three hrs long?? I do enjoy epic stories and long runtimes when the story of the film requieres that but this movie could be definitely shorter and more exciting. But unfortunately its dull dialogue after dull dialoge, then some cringy >sad< scenes abt death + loss and sometimes some action sequences sprinkled in but they are so generic and dont save the film. AT ALL! And while most sets and fx were spectacular in bp 1 its seems for bp 2 the budget was cut bc some sets and most fx and action sequences look cheap. The underwater world looks very nice, though, and some of the costumes stand out (the beautiful blue ppls head pieces and tenoch huertas costume and jewellery). But while bp 1 was so creative and had somewhat of a soul this film is lacking in eeevery department.

I should mention that letitia wright is a true hero because she carries the whole - bad - movie on her shoulders (why isnt it mentioned anywhere that she is the main character actually) and tenoch huerta is a great villain and wonderful talent (he was great in the last purge installment also). Both wright and huerta deserve more leading roles. They truly shine in this messy film.

One point of critique: why did the even make a BLACK PANTER movie when there is NO BLACK PANTER!? Its ridiculous!

Its time that hollywood finally starts making good movies again instead those silly franchise films.

This is a very disappointing finale! I am still in shock how bad it is + how much it lacked emotion, suspense and mistery! Instead of a great final halloween schocker we got: a first half that is beyond boring, full of empty characters, a love story that doesnt make sense + doesnt captivate + elevates the film + characters, one dimensional characters and whose deaths dont shock at all bc they re just there and it could be any character whatsoever. The second half has some michael meyers and some laurie strode but they are just there because the movie is titled halloween but it could be any movie with this silly convoluted story. It just doesnt seem like a halloween film at all. In the movie itself theres no halloween festivites like in the pervious films except some pumpkins. Where are the kids running around, the teenagers enjoying the halloweend festivities? The whole setting of the film seems off!

And the interesting + loveable characters from halloween kills that survived? They re just standing around in some scenes instead of getting a bigger role

It is ridiculous + just so bad.

Lets hope for a better sequel after this disappointment if the film studio decides to redeem itself after making this truly horrible film.

This movie had everything i expected: beautiful production design, lovely lightning, beautiful costumes, charming supporting characters and a seductive cate blanchett - and an unexpectedly wooden bradley cooper.

I enjoyed the unfolding story that came full circle in the end; there are some weak plot points but its a feast for the eyes takes you in for a ride. I wish the character of cate blanchett had more depth bc she was crucial to the story but the motives of her actions remain a mistery in my opinion. The same can be said abt rooney maras character.

If you are looking for a good story abt the battle of good and evil within a person and want to be impressed by a modern hollywood production which is not a sequel or prequel (but in this case a remake) or some marvel universe blockbuster this film is for you.

I honestly can tell you: this film/sequel/requel however u may call it is PERFECTION. The tone, the settings, the characters, the dialogues, it all gives the viewer and especially us fans what we often desired - and so much more: we return to woodsboro, we meet the old characters and a new cast of talented actors and actresses. And on top of that the scream myth is not rewritten but expanded.

Its all just so clever, the dialogues are smart + witty without being pretentious + the old + new characters link together so well. And the suspense is THERE!!! And the gore. Its all clicks like a puzzle!

Now my only concern is: HOW LONG WILL WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR A SEQUEL?!

I absolutely enjoyed this film - it is so much better than the last halloween flick.

It thrilling, gory, has a great cast and was so entertaining.

I read some viewers found the "political message" unnecessary but in my opinion it was adding psychological depth to the film (and arent horror films stories abt our own psyche): bc the town was shown as "progressive" place with happy couples, gay and straight, interracial and not interracial and so on and although it was this in a sense perfect society evil found its way. So its a beautiful warning and especially the ending was so gripping with michael being the blank canvas of the rage of the town ppl.

Jamie lee curtis gave a passionate perfromance again - i hope she ll have more scenes in different settings in the next film, though.

Michael mayers is a great villain and became so much scarier with this film.

So happy how this film turned out. Finally a new chapter that feels like the original films, the whole production nailed it in my opinion.

Chris Rock is delivering in his role, finding the right balance between playing a tough cop and adding humor in a some scenes and overall giving a stellar performance, especially in the final scenes.

The rest of the cast is great. I think it was a good idea to let the actors overact as it added to the whole gritty vibe of the film and gave the film a retro touch.

The traps were well thought out + while the ending could ve been a bit more dramatic it was still satisfying.

I personally didnt mind the plot holes and how easy it was to figure out who the mastermind behind the crimes was but i d say it was done intentionally bc it did add to the fun of watching the film. They could ve played out certain parts of the earlier scenes with the new jigsaw and make the character more three dimensional.

Cant wait for this series to continue. It is great horror thriller fun.

Another chapter of this great franchise, another look into the dark and depressing soul of the united states.

The movie is compelling, juggling family drama, action and the horror that is the purge.

The acting is great, Tenoch Huerta is giving a stand out performance - please could hollywood cast him in leading roles. He has the looks + the talent!

Josh lucas is giving his best (worst?) kevin costner imitation which is cringy at first but bearable as the story continues.

The ending could have been darker and also shown a kind of in the future'-sequence to keep the viewers hooked for the next part - bc i really hope theres going to be another purge flick.

This film is - like most >netflix original< content - plain bad.

For a horror film - or any genre in general, really - it was boring, the story was uninspired, it dragged on + on, there was no mysterious vaillan or interesting character development or background or any real plot + the most annoying part: it tried to be smart, somewhat funny + >meta<.

In my opinion a terrible film. Why not finance captivating + interesting stories instead of this crap?

This film doesnt offer what the title suggests. Instead of >a classic horror story< it should be called >a banal film which is not worth watching<.

This movie is really well done, a solid thriller with a sinister vibe, great acting and an original story. Also the story telling is captivating.

Not the same old franchise or remake crap we ve been served for the last 10+ years.

Entertaining and thrilling. Megan fox delivers a great performance in a simple but captivating scenario. If you want to be entertaint for 1,5 hrs + dont expect some revolutionary new way of story telling then this film is for you.

The premise is interesting but the execution is kind of boring. The acting is horrible and the few thrilling moments cant make this film interesting + captivating.

I really enjoyed the movie, the story is quite touching. Some scenes dont make sense and some of the actions of our two main characters are incomprehensible but I liked the conclusion of the film.

The actors and actresses all did a great job and I recommend this horror movie that has some good jump scares - the one in the beginning when gle was talking about his father i even screamed..

hope more movies from thailand will b released in cinemas or on streaming services. Its so great to watch how all the countries tackle the horror genre (or other genres)

What did I just see? This movie was horrible, eleanor marx deserves better than this pointess feminismbating monstrosity of a film! Not only is the portrayal of of eleanor marx and her contemporaries ridiculous, the use of punk music makes the whole experience unwatchable. And the silly dance scene at the end, why?? To show that the actress playing marx is not a good dancer?

I always try to mention something positive when talking abt films which i found bad and in this case its the acting that sticks out - despite the terrible script and >ideas< the actresses and actors make the best of this project.

Thats a show I ve been waiting for for so long. Its just so good! All the episodes are highly entertaining with a sinister touch and motives that linger on. It has a kind of old school charme which i find very compelling now that every other show's goal is to outdo the rest by dragging on and on with endless story archs and >new< narrative devices.

The acting of the main cast is great, the chemistry between the main three characters is amazing and I must say the scenes with the girls who just cant stop talking over each other are just too funny - + they add to the feeling of a home that may be not be as save and sheltered as it seems. Theres always someone or something lurking trying to find its way in.

Best part of the show is Ben the Magnificent. Such a wonderful character!

Cant wait for the show to return, its perfect.

I enjoyed this film. i wouldnt call it a remake of the classic horror film, its completely different the only similarities are the setting and women being stalked.

I liked the feminist approach and the crazy twist at the end. The story is whack but its fun to watch. It starts slow and not scary but picks up speed and keept me hooked because its a fun watch - there are some good jump scares but its not gory or too violent.

I kept wondering if students/young ppl in the US really dress that ugly. Such messy outfits and hair styles.. but that was also part why i enjoyed the film. it s ridiculous, but with feminist undertones.
