Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Shadow Warrior (2011)
Ouch
This one is an ouch for me... Grievous was too easy to capture... why did Anikan fall for the trap?
Jar Jar does both nothing and everything in this episode.
Captain Tabbers dies in the most meaningless way.
The only thing this episode accomplishes is show that Amidala cares about Ani, what's new?
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Prisoners (2011)
Fine ending to a mediocre and forgetful arc
I will forget this arc by the next season.
Overall not a fan of the villain, seemed too strong for no reason other than being a great warrior... annoying otherwise.
Rising, child leader is fine except I doubt we will ever see him again (could be wrong)
Akbar being in the arc is fine but a tad unnecessary... don't need an explanation for him being aligned with the rebellion in later films.
Kit Fisto shouldve been there from the beginning.
Don't like underwater stuff since it opens too many questions for me... how do these guys sleep if they're constantly treading water?
Don't hate, don't love, overall entertaining but forgettable.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Gungan Attack (2011)
Screw Gunguns
It unfortunately makes sense to add the Gunguns to this battle since they fight well underwater, but they get kidnapped anyhow and lose!
Jar Jar stinks as usual and doesn't do anything or interest.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Water War (2011)
It's good
This episode is good in general as a filler. Not much character building for our main characters but this is the beginning to a mediocre arc that is easily forgotten.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Nomad Droids (2011)
Would be better in a different show
It is a perfectly fine episode on its own but it doesn't belong... the idea of R2 and 3PO visiting different planets and discovering new civilizations was done in the past much worse and cheesier than this. 5/10.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
My Personal Least Favorite
I watched this movie twice in the theater and I just can't enjoy it. Here's the thing: If you like the movie, great! More power to you! You have found enjoyment in something that I couldn't which is honestly awesome! But I just really don't.
It is not really a bad film by any stretch, the acting for the most part is good, the visual effects are stunning, the score, while recycled, is awesome, the plot is where it fell flat for me but that's more opinion.
I don't really want to type out everything I didn't like so I'll just speak broadly about it. It didn't feel like Star Wars to me. It is not the same to me, it lost its charm. It may be Disney's fault, or Rian Johnson's but that is what it felt like to me.
When I was in elementary school, I was known as the Star Wars kid. Everyone knew I loved Star Wars and I knew everything about it. Nowadays, I can't call myself that anymore because I'm starting to really not like the new star wars movies. I hope that Disney can fix this because I know I'm not the only one who didn't like this movie. There really isn't a way to make everyone happy with this so maybe Disney shouldn't have started making new star wars movies as it's unnecessary.
Black Panther (2018)
What's all the fuss about?
I mean, it's not bad. It really is not a bad movie, a 7 is good. I just don't get why so many people think this movie is a masterpiece. It is just another MCU movie really. And the ending fight scene reminded me of the Phantom Menace? I don't know if many people agree with me on that but that's how I see it.
This was also one of the first movies where I got up and left for a few minutes cause one of the jokes made me cringe too hard.
Other than that, it was good, entertaining, recommended easily to anyone that has not seen it that watches the MCU films.
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Just... Wow
I have kind of thought that the MCU movies were falling into this formula after seeing black panther but this movie nailed it! This is what I wanted and was craving, stakes! Actual stakes! Characters "dying" and maybe not all of them will come back because if they did then this movie will mean nothing!
As of now, this is the best MCU movie, but if they bring back every character that "died" then this movie would become just another MCU film, good but not insane
A Quiet Place (2018)
My favorite film of the year thus far
I walked into the theater a little late, it is dead quiet, pitch black, all I see is my girlfriend's phone flashing so I could get over to her. I was scared to eat my popcorn or my cookie dough bites as I might take away from the experience that is A Quiet Place.
I freakin love this movie man, brand new take on the horror genre and I am not a horror person at all, only really saw it for John Krasinski but I got much more. It was not really all that scary but I think that is really a good thing as it opens it up for a broader audience.
It was my favorite film of the year thus far and would recommend it to anyone looking for an enthralling experience that will leave you with more questions then answers.
Deadpool 2 (2018)
Great!
I freakin loved this movie, lots of great moments, lots of laughs, pure fun with a good plot, new and interesting characters, and a neat take on a villain. I honestly liked this one more than the original DP but that is just an opinion. Highly recommend to anyone that loves Superheros, Marvel, or Deadpool!
13 Reasons Why (2017)
Really not a good idea
This series really is not good for our current youth. It does the exact opposite of the things that official health websites tell the media to do when dealing with suicide. It shows the death itself, it makes it look like she didn't have a choice, and that suicide can and will be glorified. The plot regardless is kind of ridiculous and unrealistic. I haven't watched season 2 and maybe I will and update this but that probably won't happen as when I watched season 1, it was just painful.
Other than that, the show looks good I guess? The cinematography is solid, the actin is good and um yeah, that's really it.
