Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
It is wickedly good
It is hard to categorise this movie into any genre action, comedy, fiction, romance, it has all, like a rollercoster of movie experience. So let just categorise it as 'good movie'
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022)
This is a magical review, no need to explain
Just like everything in this movie, it is magic, well, there is no need for any logics here, aint it? Just random things happen and then no explanations, then even when it is explained, it sounds dumb. Terrible and boring. Why two characters fight in a mirror dimension? Wtf was that? Well I can see futures, we we will leave tomorrow since someone is sent to visit us, but well it he is here, my ability to foresee the future is bad. And then, I should brain wash him, not just memory of his sister. So many flaws...
Xi huan ni (2017)
Smart, adorable and visually stunning
The first strike was the visual effect of every cooking shots in the first part of the movie. Then, impressed by the adorability of the female lead and elegance of the male lead. Then you will find yourself wowed at "hidden meaning" of some dishes or ingredient, which sounds very scintillating to know.
I have to say that every details in the movie are there for a reason, well-organized and intelligently exposed.
This is a funny, adorable love story to watch.
I See You (2019)
Do you know about phrogging? If not, go see this movie.
First of all, just ignore how Helen looks, just watch the movie. This is a creepy, twisting crime thriller that keeps me on guessing and wow at the a new terms: phrogging. I would be goddamn scared if someone phrog inside my house, and even more if I phrog inside a serial killer house. This movie is quite smart, keeps me heading at the wrong direction the whole time until the last curtain is revealed.
Just watch it!
