Saw this movie after seeing good reviews at the time of its release .believe me the movie is unbearable with some 50 yr old story and baaaad screenplay by the great cheetah siva.the thing i liked about this movie is comedy by santhanam and thambi ramayya.can t imagine themovie without them ,if they were not there then common audience would have moved out of the theater.those 4 stars are just for the comedy in the movie

finally this movie is strictly for those diehard ajith fans who thinks it is enough to see ajith walk in the movie.but for common audiences it is must miss movie

First of all i don t understand what makes the ones give below average verdict here.they are just showing hatred to a movie for exactly no reason. the movie is really beautiful.watch for its grandeur and ranveer s acting. slow pace of the movie isits real strength . just go and watch it in 3D for the best experience

I have watched this movie in tamil on the premiers .first of all im shocked seeing so much hate in the publc review section.the movie is beautiful just like padmavati.it is a drama movie and people expect it to be like bahubali 2 where heroes suddenly transfer into superhero when it comes to action sequences son t expect those shit here. i accept the movie is little slow paced but that s what i liked in the movie,it s not over the top. VFX in the movie was very well done that this will be the first indian movie to compete with hollywood in VFX.music was neither good nor bad.i must appreciate the dialoguewriter who has written tamil dubbing ,it was like a straight movie. SLB s direction was so good. the man who steals the show is surely Ranveer Singh he is crazy,a damn good actor he is.whenever he comes on screen he gets claps mostly in second half.

Oveall A pretty good movie which is worth watching intheatres for the brilliant acting and fairy tale story.watch in 3D ,it gives you a new experience

Whoa awesome movie. manoj bajpayee was a great actor his anger lust joy everything just comes out so real.you would feel that you re watching a real incident in every scene .each and everyone were perfect in their roles. music was so unconventional and suited best for the movie.the camera work were splendid.the dark comedies worked great. overall : a definite must watch movie and this is what you call a climax just wait for it

Saw this movie after seeing imdb top rated movies and doubted what s wrong with those people who consider this movie as a masterpiece. the movie is so plain i understand it is a old movie and a feel good one but keeping it number 1 above pulp fiction or prestige movies does nt make any sense

I used to see all movies of Vijay Sethupathi but this one is his greatest performance ever.His body language and swag that he maintained in this movie is his best ever.coming to Madhavan he plays a serious cop who thinks he does justice by killing the bad ones and slowly loses his confidence and understands there is no good or bad and everyone has there own justification for their act.His performance too is one of his best performance ever.He lets the intense in the story grow on you.

BGM score of newcomer Sam CS is just terrific the modulation in the theme songs he gives to each scene perfectly suits the movie.

Direction:director duo Pushkar and Gayathri has worked very much on the script to make it entertaining at the same time showing brilliance in the story telling,the connection of folktale vikramadhityan vedalam with the cop,gangster story with morals is just awesome. surely a must watch and worth the time
