What can I say?
14 March 2024
I was a big time professional wrestling fan years before 2000, and somehow I never heard of this Marcus Bagwell movie until recently. I was hoping there was more of him in the movie. I only kept watching it for one reason, well, maybe two reasons. ;) It's amazing how many people you see these days that have passed away when they were young, e.g. Julie Strain. It just shows you that you need to enjoy your live as long as you are here because you never know when something may happen and those who love you will be missing you. There was some action and other interests in this movie, but it is definitely a B movie, maybe a C movie.

Definitely worth a watxg
24 January 2024
This movie is one of those I particularly love - what would I do if I was in that situation? We follow the protagonist after a car crash and what to do. Do we go to the police? Go to the US Embassy? Who can we trust? It is not difficult to put yourself into the leading actor's shoes and trying to find those answers as the movie goes along. Some people said the movie is a little slow but you have to put yourself as the person experiencing that and what do you do? It takes a little time to think what the next move will be and in the end even though some things may be a little unrealistic, one can certainly see why things transpired the way they did. Definitely worth a watch.

Why don't they make shows like this anymore?
9 December 2023
This was a perfect continuation of the Monk TV series. Anybody who was a fan of the TV show will love this movie. Shows like this are very far and few between these days. After watching it, it reminded me of the beauty of a crime drama with the perfect blend of humor along with it to make the story interesting and the viewer engaged. I was unaware they were making this movie but I am hoping there will be many more because they don't make them like this anymore. It's a nice family show/movie that will keep the entire family entertained. The characters all work well together and that's what also makes the environment work. Enjoy!

This is the Hardy Boys?
27 July 2023
What does this have to do with the Hardy Boys? I read every book up until 1980 and this has nothing to do with the Hardy Boys. Frank is supposed to be one year older than Joe and it's clear the actors are a larger difference in age than that. I had to restart episode one three times just to try to understand what I was watching. Even the Hardy Boys series from the 70s with Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson was more realistic. I was excited to find a new Hardy Boys series, but now I'm having to wonder if I should just wait for when I'm totally bored to binge on a new series (unrelated to the Hardy Boys).

What is everybody else seeing?
19 April 2023
I had to watch this based on my friends loving it. What were they thinking? The first couple of episodes was good but then it gets really slow. I watched every episode of The Walking Dead and even though I wasn't a diehard fan, at least there were a few things every episode that kept your interest like the zombies. This just gets slow.

I don't care about the video game; I'm watching a show. Some episodes were like why? They had no purpose other than our main two characters passing through town.

Some flashbacks were okay where they explained things. Others were a waste of time.

The quality was good to warrant a 6 rating, but I'm not sure if I'll be back for the next season.

I don't get the ratings
1 July 2022
I watched this years ago from a DVD club and rated it 2 out of 5. After seeing the high reviews here, I decided to try it again. It started out good, maybe because I didn't remember it, but talk about slow and boring. I gave up eventually and realized I may have bad memory, but my taste in movies was still good.

Horrible closed captioning
22 December 2021
Unfortunately I have to watch closed captioning because of a little loss of hearing but I could even tell how incredibly inaccurate the closed captioning was. This ranks as one of the worse closed captions I have ever seen.

Here's a simple example of how bad the closed captioning is. Actor really said: "I forgot how fun this is." Closed captioning: "I forgot our funguses."

Other than that, the movie was enjoyable albeit a little predictable.

Slow! No closed captions
6 February 2021
It took a long time before the pace of the movie picked up and even then it was still slow. And where's the closed captions? This is 2 movies now that were released in 2020 with no closed captions. Unfortunately some of us can't enjoy a movie anymore because of being hard of hearing.

What makes a B movie?
14 January 2021
While watching this movie, I had to think if it was better acting, production, music, etc. that made a movie good. This movie didn't have it. From the quiet soundtrack to fake punches, one has to wonder if this screenplay could have turned into a better movie. We were able to make it through the entire movie, which means something kept us attracted and I think it was the script.

8 for seasons 1-2
2 August 2020
This show was fantastic for season 1. Season 2 was also good and then it got canceled. I discovered that Netflix took over for season 3 and since we now have Netflix, I started watching. It wasn't long into episode 1 that I was going, what's up with all the cursing? Obviously an excellent show didn't need that and I guess everyone decided, "Hey, we're on Netflix now, so let's throw some cursing in." I'm making my way through the third season and I just had to post this. I am glad to see I wasn't the only one who thought this.

Not as bad as people's reviews
24 May 2020
I'm surprised at the reviews given here. It's definitely not a 4.8. Action and suspense throughout keeps you watching and wondering what is going to happen next. I expected the ending but getting there was enjoyable. Plus it kept my better half awake which definitely gives it a two thumbs up!

Why is it?
5 October 2019
I was so looking forward to watching this movie. But it couldn't decide if it was a biography or a Broadway musical. Once "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" came on, it was time to write this. It's a shame because it could have been so good.

Enjoyed the entire movie
15 December 2018
From the trailer, I thought it was going to be a fun movie and I wasn't disappointed. The middle got kind of slow, but it picked back up to end with a wonderful Christmas movie that will surely be one of my favorites.

Boring for non-political people
23 September 2018
I watched the first 15 minutes 4 times until I understood what was happening. I then brought in my partner to rewatch from the beginning and she fell asleep about 30 minutes in. I made it about 1.5 hours in and gave up. Unless you're into politics, this movie gives no interest. I'm shocked at the 7.5 rating here which actually kept me trying to watch it.

Oh, so bad!
15 December 2017
I haven't done a movie review in years, but this one was so bad, I have to warn everybody. The plot sounded good because I love these "what would I do if I was in this situation" movies.

I can handle the horrible video throughout most of the movie understanding it was from the stalker's point of view. But you can't end a movie just to end it. The viewer is left with questions like who, why, how, and that just ruins the whole experience. What was going to possibly be a rating of 5 immediately dropped to a 1 rating. I just lost 1 hour and 20 minutes of my life that I will never get back again. :(

I had an item on this show
4 July 2007
I had fun watching this show and had an item that I actually submitted to the show and they had it on. Unfortunately though, this was before the days of VCRs.

When we got last minute notice what day the show with my item was going to be on, my mother and I rushed from school to home to see it. We got home just as the show was ending.

My father was home that day for some reason and he got to see it though.

I would love to get the show on tape or DVD so I could at least see my item. Everything else from the "retro" days is coming out on DVD so perhaps I'll eventually be able to get a copy.

Boogeyman (2005)

Not sure why everyone hates this movie
28 December 2006
I watched this movie first on DVD with the lights turned off, no distractions, and was surprised at how thrilling the movie was. So much so that I had to buy the DVD. I came to IMDb to see some particulars of the cast and was amazed at all the people that did not like the movie.

I have certainly seen my share of horror movies starting back when Halloween first opened and through all the slasher flicks of the early 80's and the Japan-based horror movies of today. There have certainly been scarier movies than Boogeyman, but I sure got my share of thrills, jumps, and scares out of it.

Sure, there are some unanswered questions at the end but I find that often in this genre like stuff that doesn't make sense, why did that happen, and what happened to...? The reason you watch a horror movie is to be scared, thrilled, and frightened and with this movie you will be.

The best thing I liked seeing was that this movie didn't have to resort to all the blood and gore that most horror movies seem to have just to be scary. So pop that DVD in, get the kids out of the room, turn off the lights, and just enjoy the movie for what it tries to do, give you a thrill.
