Opens with too much swearing and apparently 'arty' shaky camera angles plus the location scouts seem to have found the worst parts of Melbourne - it doesn't let up. The overall impression is this is someone's vanity project and any sense of connection with the actors is difficult to find and the characters are hard to like. What could have been a love story with a gritty edge was spoiled by an apparent need to be 'street' and became an instant turn off. The second half is certainly better than the first but overall, just another expletive laden, trashy film to add to Australia's reputation of a 'once was' producer of quality films.

Could have been something but fails miserably. Hardly any funny moments and far too much swearing - even from the children. So many missed opportunities and all but one of the characters are totally dislikeable. Give it a miss.

Ridiculous acting that is tedious and painful to watch. Unbelievable situations (especially the attending police) make this another cringeworthy film that Australia seems to be producing lately.

The acting is so incredibly wooden, the special effects - well, not effective, the continuity is atrocious, besides that it's amateur hour on YouTube!

The only thing that would make this film even worse would have been if Nicholas Cage accepted the lead role.

Ignore the good reviews, the bad ones were right. And far too many F words.

Low budget acting (or lack thereof) makes this a tedious film with cheap sets nothing more than a high school project put on the screen. Shallow, wooden, lack of atmosphere and any depth to the characters or the storyline. BMX Bandits takes on The Labyrinth- just appalling.

Vain, self obsessed (and over the hill) wannabe influencers make a 'movie' on an iPhone by ripping off the "Amityville" name. 5 minutes was our limit.

And repetitive, and over-long. Do we really need to hear everyone's full name each time they are mentioned? And can Dave Blankenship complete a full sentence without swearing?

I really wanted to enjoy this film but the hand-held camera work became increasingly annoying and unnecessary to the point of nausea.

Seen it all before in so many other low rated horror/thrillers, nice scenery though. It's a shame that yelling and swearing can be considered dramatic acting for some who can't act.

Straight to video? Straight to the bin. I think we are over these over stereotypical Australian characterisations and this trash should be the last film of this type inflicted on the rest of civilisation. What on earth persuaded some of the lead names to even consider this tripe?
