Home2Home (2022)
Trigger warning would be nice
I like a good adventure documentary and this one ticked many boxes. However I can not get over a scene where a few children somewhere in Asia hold the stiff dead bodies of some Marsupians they hunted for eating. That is life, however, they also killed a mother marsupian and the baby was still alive holding on to the dead body of the mom. The expression of terror and fear on that baby marsupian and this totally unneccesary cruelty still haunts me today. Had I known I would not have watched that doc.
Pray for Rain (2017)
Propaganda
I am supposed to believe that the Californian water crisis has nothing to do with those farmers growing water guzzling alien crops such as cotton, alfalfa or almonds in a dry hot climate. Nope, it is the fault of the environmentalists. Looks like those tough, hard working, common sense farmers are as detached from the land as the City dwellers. After 10 minutes I had to stop watching this nonsense.

Desperate to stay cool
The idea about a psychologist getting too involved in her clients life was quite promising. Technichally perfectly executed, actors did the best they could with the material. However perhaps it would have been better to make this a comedy and not a thriller and not stretching it out over 10 episodes. It was hard to relate to a privileged blond white woman that is going through her midlife crisis, facing first world problems such as keeping a child's birthday party simple or make it a lavish feast with magicians, catering and parents sipping wine. Learned that a middle aged woman could go through her midlife crisis in the same ridiculous way as some men do. Could not get through.
