King Kong (2005)

Awesome

This movie was excellent. I wanted to see it as soon as I saw Naomi Watts screaming in the trailer.

I didn't see any of the other films. I'll admit that this movie was a smidge too long (Kong doesn't show up until over an hour into it!) but if it wasn't long, the relationship between Kong and Ann wouldn't have been developed enough! I thought the acting was great. Jack Black did a good job portraying a tycoon who only cares about money. His role wasn't funny at all. (You know how Jack Black is usually in comedies) Also, I can never get enough of Adrien Brody's huge nose. There's a great scene with him on the boat without a shirt.

So, I think people should see it.

good film

This is one of my favorite comedies of all time. Contrary to popular belief, the plot was very well put together. Besides being hot, Ashton Kutcher and Sean William Scott are perfect for playing the "dumb" guy; the guy who never really seems to get it and always makes funny comments. I haven't even seen this movie in at least three years, yet as I read the quotes I found myself laughing out loud. I suggest this movie to everyone with a sense of humor. It has great quotes and great acting. I can't even think of anything bad to say about this film. Actually, the only tasteless joke was the one about panties and going on a ride....if you see this movie, you'll know what I'm talking about. The point is, from start to finish, it delivers much humor and the good kind of nonsense.

The Party (1980)

so awesome

My french teacher allowed my class to watch the entire thing. It's a wonderful movie. There was one slow song that kept playing throughout the entire film, but at the moment I cannot recall the name of it. I give it a ten out of ten because it was funny, shocking, and even a smidge sad at points. Nowadays it would most definitely be rated PG-13 at least, because it does contain profanity and some sexual references. All of the foreign films shown to us in class were loved by all, such as Jean De Florette and Manon De la Source, which are both equally fabulous movies. I must say that I greatly enjoyed the lead female character's haircut. It really looked good on her.
