You (2018)
Second season couldn't get any better
No spoilers here so I'll just discuss the concepts of this season. Love attracts and seeks the same type of love. We always think that our actions are justifiable because they're "out of love" but when someone does the same things back for us, we can finally see what is wrong with us. The female characters of this season are so powerful. We have more access to Joe's psyche. I watched this season in one day. I wouldn't have it any other way. Just WOW.
Maleficent (2014)
Don't know why a normal rational human being won't watch this.
This is the kind of movie someone should be proud of being part of ! the cast is amazing, the effects and the quality of "imaginary" sets are outstanding. This is definitely the sort of movies I would want to see its second part and third even. The story is different enough, but you will still see some touches of the genuine one in it. There were a lot of interesting twists and i couldn't take my eyes off the screen at all, and I usually do. I think that this movie is very pure and meaningful and it shows a lot of humans' vulnerabilities which we are no longer exposed to, at least not in a descent interesting way like this one. It is more like an experience than just a movie to kill some extra time with. I will admit that some scenes were beautifully surprising and some were just too expected, but it wasn't boring at all to spend that night watching it. I even had good dreams that night ! Suitable for kids and family nights and can be considered as a true reminder of fairy tales. I think that the simplicity of the twists is what made it good, because the new movies are all about exaggerating but this one is just an old fashioned movie with these incredible adds and cute twists that made it just amazing! i really hope you watch it, because you will enjoy it and if you haven't watched it yet, then you're definitely missing something.
Inside Out (2015)
You wouldn't want to miss this movie.
This is one of my favorite movies ever. I was 19 when I watched it and I felt like it was the sort of materials I would expose my kids to. I am sorry for having to spoil the plot for you but it is just fascinating how by the end, they linked memories to sadness, and it is sadness that saved the girl. And i believe they wanted to say more by that. We all look at sadness as a bad thing, as an unwanted thing and true, being sad messes things up (just like in the movie) but sometimes being sad is just to find balance, and it isn't that bad thing. I liked when the old imaginary friend of the little girl sacrificed himself to help joy and sadness find their way, I found that very beautiful and expressing. Sometimes things from our past need to send us free so that we can move forward but that doesn't mean that those thongs weren't real, at least, to us. I also found the way Joy treated Sadness beautiful to discuss. Joy tried her best to be nice to sadness, but only when sadness is watching. Joy was, clearly, faking it around sadness for she thought that sadness doesn't know how to have fun which is very true but that is only because that's who sadness is and people should be accepted for who they are. I want to say more about what this movie made me realize but then i'll probably say too much so i'll just thank Pixar and Disney for this amazing work and recommend you to watch this piece of beautiful moving small cute characters.
How to Be Single (2016)
Age restricted sort of movie, but a good one.
After reading the reviews above me, I almost didn't recognize the movie! I found it interesting, maybe not that big of a thing, but hell yeah i'd watch it again. I didn't like the fact that it was sexist and racist (only white people) but I don't regret watching it at all. A week ago, I became twenty, and that is definitely the sort movies you'd watch in your twenties. The main actress said something that made total sense and that I strongly related to that I had to re-tweet a quote of her. Some of the scenes weren't really something I enjoyed watching but the moral of the movie is really worth watching it for. At the end, there is this beautiful friendship moral. all in all, after watching this movie, you will realize that being single isn't something people should be ashamed of,it is not easy, but it is the best opportunity for us, women, to be more than just "women". I laughed, I owed some scenes and I was like : you kidding me -_- at some scenes, so I wish you all enjoy watching it, for i did.
High Strung (2016)
Why I recommend you to watch this *-*
This is by far the best movie I watched this year, and I've watched a lot! The acting isn't really satisfying since they seem acting; the main actress and few of the sub-actors aren't really fluent (speaking of acting here).
Now,the plot is good, little bit predictable, but very good for a romance-drama-musical movie. At the beginning, the movie seemed familiar and I almost stopped watching it, but the main actor is just cute *-* and after around 30 minutes, some twists appeared, and it became really interesting to watch. The pop dance steps, the violin musics and the ballerina swings were all good, original and different since the main instrument is the violin.
I rated it by 9 stars because after the magnificent last performance, I wished they lost to change the routine of THE MAIN CHARACTERS ALWAYS WIN, but they didn't, and they won. Surprisingly, and as much as it was expected to see them win, I was so happy when they were announced as winners. It is what the end made me feel that made me rate it by 9 stars. You will enjoy watching it, if you're the type who likes fluffy cute stuff. PS: it is the material you would watch with your family, it has only few kissing scenes.
