American Murder: The Family Next Door (2020)
Seen in the U.K
Knew nothing about this case as I am British and live in the U.K. All I can say is it deeply moved me. So, so sad.
Ghost Stories (2017)
Ok
This reminded me of soup.
Really tasty but when finished it didn't quite fill me.
The Boys: What I Know (2020)
Wow
Wow..................... Just Wow. If your enjoying The Boys, then this final episode will blow you away.
Annabelle Comes Home (2019)
Starts good and then goes downhill.
The film starts well and the acting isn't too bad all the way through, it's just too slow. Lots of loud noise to try and get you to jump without the real scares. It's not as bad as some of the reviews here but I would not go out of my way to watch it again.
Cold Pursuit (2019)
Nicely surprised.
Really enjoyed this film and the scenery is just stunning. It has some very funny dark moments mixed in with the Liam Neeson doing his bit of revenge.
The Vietnam War (2017)
Amazing
This is so well done. What I found so refreshing, was how honest this documentary is. The makers kept and delt with the facts of this tragic war and showed the events from both sides of the conflict. This is the best war documentary since "The World at War" which was made in the 70s. To the makers, a big well done.
Crack in the World (1965)
Bit dated but great.
Loved this film as a child and still do today. Younger people my not appreciate it, but for me it's great nostalgia. P.s am 58 .
Death Wish (2018)
Good....
Far better then the 6.4 it's getting at the time am writing this. Have seen all the death films, wish as am that old. Really enjoyed this remake. It is a new take on an old film and they haven't tried to copy it to the letter. The story is the same but done differently if you get my drift. If your as old as me then I think you will enjoy it. If your not as old as me then I think you will love it. Clive.
The World at War (1973)
Great
Simply, the best unbiased documentary you will ever watch on the second world war. As good today as when it was made in 1972.
Grimm (2011)
Love it
Love it. One of those box sets you can just get lost in. Call me sad but I really enjoyed this
Hangman (2017)
Could have been better
Sorry if you dont agree. This could have been so much better if the main star had turned up. I got the impression he was there for the money. I love Robert and most of what he has done over the years, but he is to old for this sort of part and it showed.
The Dark Tower (2017)
See this as a stand alone film.
As with many films based on books, this gets slated. To me, from a personal point of view, I watch a film as a film and not as a book and I read more books than most. This is a very good film, but if you're wanting to see the 7 books on the big screen you will be disappointed. Forget the books and you will enjoy this.
Wonder (2017)
Lovely
If you don't shed a tear, then your harder then me and i thought i was hard until I saw this.
Ready Player One (2018)
Book, great...... Film very good
I watched the film first and then did the book. Personally i think the film is great and a far better then average take on a novel. If your after a great watch then see this.
Rillington Place (2016)
Far better then some of the reviews.
Many are saying this is slow and it is, but its done in a masterful way which builds to the end that we all know. For me, what makes this a joy is the remarkable acting.
