The Conjuring 2 was a pretty decent horror movie. As far as horror movies about paranormal activity goes, this is probably the best one. Having said this, its debatable that the first Conjuring was just as good. In my eyes, it wasn't any better than the first one, but not any worse either.

Some scenes were really good and scary, such as the first scene, and some were quite predictable. There were more good scenes than bad ones though. WARNING: Do not watch this if it is your first horror movie. I also think if you are going to watch this movie you should be either a 16+ or an experienced horror movie watcher, as you should be for most horror movies.

Like in the first movie of The Conjuring, it says it is based on a true story. They only say this to scare you. It is true that there were people who heard strange noises in there homes, but so do we all. Plus, they never found out where the noises were coming from and in this movie there is a lot more than just noises.

Considering it is a a movie about paranormal activity , and those movies don't normally scare me because they are unrealistic, this one is fairly scary. It was a good quality movie with good graphics and an obvious amount of effort put in to the making. The only disappointing thing, for me, was the bad story line and especially the ending, which I thought was quite poor and rushed.

' The Dark Knight ' , in my opinion, is the best out of the three modern batman movies. Batman finally has an enemy that is stronger than him and, for once, the bad guys actually have a bit of dominance. The graphics are a lot better than the other two movies.

The story line its self was actually quite unrealistic, especially the scene at the beginning. However, the ending was brilliant. It might have been an unrealistic story line, but it was a good one. It was really exciting as the tension built up towards the end.

Similar to the previous Dark Knight , Christopher Nolan managed to fit in some surprises and red herrings. Christian Bale executed his part brilliantly once again, and credit to Anne Hathaway for playing her role really well and credit to Christopher Nolan for actually including her role in the film. Christopher Nolan couldn't have ended the batman film series with a better film than that.

Firstly , It recommend watching ' Batman begins ' before watching this movie. The beginning of ' the dark knight ' was one of the best parts, in my opinion. Its exhilarating and somewhat intelligent, as well as a lot of other parts of this long movie. The joker was the perfect, sinister villain to match Batman. Even when you thought the film was going to finish, it continued with even more action. I have no idea how the director made this, almost three hour long movie, and still managed to keep your attention with tons of action at the right times.

Its a classic superhero movie , which I highly recommend for any person who likes movies about superheroes. What I liked about ' The Dark Knight ' was that it was unpredictable. There were lots of surprises and red herrings , which made you not know what to expect to happen. This is what a lot of film directors strive to do with their screen plays. Christopher Nolan may have done this perfectly , but I think he might have done it accidentally.

Batman begins was a great initial film for the modern Batman. It explained everything you would want to know about batman, not making the story too unrealistic. Through out the film there were very few scenes of the Batman himself( which is good because it adds to his whole secret and mysterious character). Most of the film was explaining Bruce Waynes life, how he became the Batman , his childhood and his adult life apart from saving Gotham from criminals.

You may think its a boring film with no action , because there aren't many Batman scenes, but your wrong. The film is still as interesting about Bruce Waynes life. It also makes the scenes where batman does appear seem better(the few Batman scenes were really good)It definitely kept me in my seat, excited to see what was going to happen next.

It felt as though Batman begins was only the introduction to Batman. When the film finished I was left thinking :'Time to watch the next one'. That is what was good about this film , it leaves you eager to see more.

The pianist was a classic , have-to-see movie. Its one of those movie that will go down in history. Its undoubtedly a touching movie for every being and very sad and tear jerking for some. Its based on a true story of a man trying to survive the holocaust and the general destruction in the ghetto of Warsaw during WWII. He used his music almost as a savior for himself. He was just a pianist. He didn't want any trouble.

This film shows how a middle class , Jewish family turned into five individuals struggling to survive or escape the ghetto. It shows what a terrible time Jews had to go through , without showing the worst of it , by not showing any scenes of the concentration camps. This film educates us how the Jews did not only die during those times , but they were tortured and killed and intimidated publicly.

This film expresses love, torture, tragedy, death, violence, ignorance, sympathy and much more. The magnificent acting in this film expresses all these factors brilliantly. many think this film is depressing , but all it is, is the ugly truth. People think this is depressing , but they haven't seen the worst of it.

'Freedom writers' was a touching movie. It displays conflict , racism , violence and a lot of other dangers that happened in the early 1990s in Long beach. It presents how the riots extremely affected kids living in long beach. This film makes people aware how uneducated teens were , due to them being preoccupied with their safety. Its based on a true story, written by the real teacher who changed the lives of those kids. This film contains numerous morals and hidden messages , a lot to do with racism and gangs.

However good the quality of the actual film is, is irrelevant , as its such an amazing, mesmerizing , sad, happy and controversial story on its own. Every actor in the movie was really believable ( apart from Imelda Stauton who played the school director ). All the young actors, playing the high school kids, did brilliant jobs , as well as the actor playing Erin( the main protagonist ). This film also managed to fit in some humorous scenes, as well as very emotional and violent scenes. This movie can completely change someones perspective on ethnic backgrounds and change a privileged persons general state of mind.

'Trophy kids' was an up to snuff documentary reviewing the life of children and adolescents whose lives are being influenced by sport and their over-the-top-sport-parents. This is an unusual film. You wont get many like this. This movie is actually going into the lives of these kids and being told from their perspective, as well as a lot of it being told from the parents perspective. This documentary is unusual , not only because its talking about an unusual topic , but because it is actually going into the lives of the kids in great detail.

It can also be a rather blue movie, since the parents are going over-the-top and sometimes being unfair with their kid. Its a good documentary , because its showing the audience more or less everything they want to know about their lives and not missing out anything. It is made really well , going from one kids life to another, and at the end finishing it off with a touching ending. There is a big message in this documentary(that is why it is a good movie to watch). When you watch it, you will have to figure out that message for yourself.

This was a great inspirational, motivational movie. Before this movie, I had no idea who Iverson was . After this movie, he was my favorite player. Even though Iversons presence in the world wasn't as impacting as people like Muhammad ali or Martin Luther Kings presence was, this film made it seem like it was.

This film shows you many things you probably didn't know about the man who could have and was one of the greatest athletes , not just for what he did on the court , but also off the court. Despite this film being a documentary, it was made in a story-like fashion. It was also made in chronological order , which adds to it being an even better story/documentary.Since this movie is expressing Iversons passion for the sport , it can be touching for basketball lovers. I felt slightly emotional towards the end of the movie. I strongly recommend this film for basketball fans , sport fanatics or anyone interested in important figures in the history of sport. Its suitable and interesting for any audience , that's what makes such a great film.

This was a great film. It was emotional and violent at the same time. it was very touching. The film was made really well,considering it was all filmed , mostly , in the same place.It is hard to make such a good movie ,filmed in only one place, through out the majority of the screenplay.Don Cheadle played the main part and totally executed it.

It is a very sad story and the scary thing is that a lot of what happened in the movie actually happened in real life.(over 1 million deaths in less than 100 days). A lot of movies based on true stories aren't very good and have obviously been altered. However, 'Hotel Rwanda' is an exceptional and a very believable film. It can also be somewhat unbelievable , because its so accurate and people don't believe what actually happened.

Its also really hard to recreate a war , let alone recreating a true story .This movie recreates both perfectly. 'Hotel Rwanda' is a story of a man, who exists to this day, who became a hero and saved many lives in a dreadful civil war. This movie demonstrates his heroics and at the same time educates us about Rwandan history , the Rwandan genocide, what children and everyone suffered in Rwanda during those terrible times and the UN ignorance.

City of god is a different film. Its one of a kind. There aren't many films like it. There is a fair bit of criticism standing against this movie. Such as it being too violent, not appealing to everyone or it being in Portuguese, therefore being subtitled. Without these factors 'City of god' is an almost perfect movie. I don't mind those factors. I don't mind it being violent or being in Portuguese , just that some people do.

Its a long movie, that makes a lot sense, its incredibly interesting and its got a bit of everything ,due to the unclear plot. The child actors in the movie are also very good.This makes it even better. You can tell the film was very well thought out, with great ideas and really well made with an obvious large amount of effort put into the making. The ending is really good an ends the movie perfectly.

'City of god' also widens your awareness massively of the poverty, drugs , police abuse and general danger young adults and children experience in these environments and developing countries. This film was set in Brazil. Despite all the violence, the movie is being looked at from the perspective of a non-violent individual.I recommend this movie for any adult , due to it being a bit too much for children. GREAT MOVIE DEFINITELY WATCH IT

The Truman show was an interesting movie with a good, initial plot.It was a great movie idea that made me look at life from a different perspective. It makes you think differently and expands your awareness and observations made. It was a simple idea , but effective. The film seemed like a dream. It seemed as though Truman was dreaming it all , which has an effect on the audience and makes them feel the same way.

This film is quite old, therefore it doesn't seem that realistic. The island in which Truman was living was also quite unrealistic.To improve the movie, the Truman island could have been more realistic so it was harder for him to figure out that it was a show.It would have also helped if his day to day life was a bit more interesting to increase the action and tension levels. All in all, its a classic worth watching, despite the improvements that could be made to suit the more modern world, since this was made in 1998.

This film isn't advisable to watch if you like films with lots of action .There is a lot of talking during the film. It may be a documentary , but it wasn't all that interesting. For me ,personally , it wasn't that bad because I have seen the bad grandpa movie and it was interesting seeing how they did it all.

I would have rated it higher , but due to the fact its only talking about a specific subject ,that being 'bad grandpa', it wont appeal to everybody. There are funny scenes and I do recommend watching it if you have seen the movie 'bad grandpa', but don't expect it to be as good as 'bad grandpa'.

The only reason that I didn't rate it very high was because it isn't intriguing enough with a proper plot and no story line at all. Its hard to make documentaries that have stories with in them ,and those documentaries are good, and that is what this film lacks. Despite all of this , I highly recommend the 'bad grandpa' movie , due to it being very funny and original.

This is a typical , silly , American comedy. Its not the best of movies , but it is funny.If you are into comedies , I recommend this film strongly. Having said this, it only has a specific humor that wont be every bodies cup of tea. It wont appeal to all audiences and has a lot of bad language ( take in account it is a restricted movie )Despite all of this it is a witty and funny comedy worth watching for a good laugh. It will probably be a classical comedy in years to come. Apart from the great cast,there is nothing special about this movie really. There is nothing that makes it better than other comedies. All in all, its an entertaining light hearted film. Whether you like the humor or not, that is down to the individual watching.

I was very disappointed with this movie. With the great cast , it had potential to be an excellent movie. 50% of the movie was about weed and the other 50% was comedy. The comedy bit was alright, although it was not all funny. It was generally a stoner film. If you weren't getting high while watching it, its pretty boring . The comedy is also targeted for a small audience.Unless your prepared to watch an hour of Snoop dogg an Wiz Khalifa pretending to get high ( and probably getting high ) , don't watch this movie unless you are high.

This is a good biographical movie which is definitely underrated.50 cent (Curtis Jackson) acts very well and does a great job , considering he isn't an actor. I recommend this movie for any 50 cent fan. It tells you a lot about 50 cents childhood, upbringing and the environment in which he lived in , that you probably didn't already know. It gives you a clear idea of what it was like living in that part of New York during the 1980s and 1990s for a black youth. Even if you are not a fan of 50 cent , this movie can appeal to you , since it is more about the life of a gangsta trying to leave his criminal days behind willing to pursue rapping , rather than the life of an actual rapper. Get rich or die trying has a decent plot and story line. It may have a bit of bad acting, violence , bad language etc , but that doesn't mean it is a bad film. This movie is worth watching, due to it expressing what it is like for a troubled youth growing up in the ghetto.
