Seriously, the side characters are umpteen times better written and fleshed out than Victor and his love interests. Meet Victor, the indecisive and credulous nightmare you definitely do not want on the same bed with. At a certain point in S2 and for the entire duration of S3, I was rooting for him to fail miserably and end up alone. Whenever he is getting back with his love interest without resolving the issue that actually led to the previous breakup, I would scream Stephen Sondheim's Move On from Sunday in the Park with George, which has, by the way, a billion times wit than all three seasons combined. Don't watch this with a brain, because its ridiculousness would fry it.
