Old Dads (2023)
An hour and of half of Bill Burr being Bill Burr and crushing it!
If you like Bill Burr, you're going to love this movie, hands down. It touches in classic topics Bill touches on in his standup and is so relatable to many people. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone who commentates on their surroundings.
All of the characters are very well-written and casted perfectly. A lot of characters made me roll my eyes back so much, but that's what made this movie so perfect. It immerses the viewers into the brain of whom Bill Burr is.
I laughed for more than half of the movie and then these were moments that hit me right in the feels. Bill Burr is a comedic genius.
Harley Quinn: Batman Begins Forever (2022)
A script-flipping fun time
Tw: trauma

I don't want to give too much away, so I won't. What I will say is that this episode really flips the script with what a hero is and what a villain is. It is a much darker toned episode and yet the humor is still there. It explores the traumas that Bruce endored as a kid and Harley is left to help him heal. I'm still not sure if Harley is supposed to become only a "good guy" only in this episode or if the show has progressively moved her in that direction aside from the anti-hero status. I firmly believe that this episode does a great job with exploring that for her as well.
There have been many enjoyable episodes but this one is a work of art. I think this episode is one of the best in the series yet, at least in my opinion.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
The show has a lot of potential...
It was hard to tell in the first episode because thw trailers have pretty much shown most of what was in it. Things felt rushed as well but that because it's a short series. I recommend watching the show before reading any of the reviews as it'll be a quick watch.
It's hard to introduce new characters as follow-ups after the greats like Iron Man and Captain America so thw future of the Avengers is unclear. That being said, the MCU is still exciting to watch and I can't wait to see where it goes!
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: A Normal Amount of Rage (2022)
Needs to find its footing but great trajectory
This episode showed basically most of what was shown in the trailer which was unfortunately and a little disappointing, but still has a lot of potential at the same time.
There are a lot of negative views, but many of them seem to miss that it's hard to jump right into. The hulk in general has always been a tough sell let alone a new character in the MCU. I can imagine that the show will find its footing by episode 3 the latest. It defintely had many enjoyable moments, especially the post credit scene. I enjoy the show regardless of what the reviews say. I recommend watching the show before reading them.
Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
The only zombie show/movie I rooted for the zombies in
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one lol, this show is just awful. It's full of whiney characters and such naivity in a very unrealistic way. I would say it males sense most people died in this universe, but there much better ways to do this.
Moon Knight: Asylum (2022)
Very intense episode but worth the watch
This episode does a great job at really delving into Marc/Steven's past. As someone who struggles with mental health and is fascinated by it at the same time, I found it meaningful that not only is it being taken more seriously even in the portrayals of different mental illnesses, but even things like adding information for people to get help if they need it by showing a link to NAMI's site. I can't wait to see where the show goes from here.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
The series finale had promised, but was a disappointment:)
The episode started off ok, but it quickly went off of the rails and not in a good way. It was far fetched and a letdown, especially after the promise of righting the wrongs of of the series finale of the original show. The season overall was great, especially the episode prior. The season (series?) finale could have led to some interesting spinoffs but may be final. That being said, I wonder if it was a fantasy whether by Dexter, Harrison, or Angela? The writers could theoretically use that approach if there were to be more seasons of Dexter? It's not outside the realm of possibilities considering Dexter is known to daydream a lot.
Harley Quinn: Thawing Hearts (2020)
I cried.😔
Such a fantastic episode that flips the comic and adds depth to a cold character. (I'm sorry for the puns:( ) my only previous exposure to Mr Freeze was previously from Arnold Schwarzenegger so this portrayal was very moving for me.
The Movies That Made Us (2019)
It's a great concept and informative, but...
This narrator undoes the magic of these films by being super annoying and it's barely watchable because of him.
New Girl: Big Mama P (2016)
Jess's singing is so annoying in this episode
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this show, but Jess is so freaking annoying in this episode and gets progressively more annoying as the show goes into its later seasons. I had to skip every time she sang in this episode. -_-
Nick is hilarious in this episode as per usual, Winny the Bish is as well!
