Janghwa, Hongryeon (2003)
I literally made an account just to write this.
I'm a huuuuge horror buff, specifically foreign horror, and this movie completely blew me away. It has the perfect amount of creepiness to keep you interested but doesn't go too overboard. The American remake called "The Uninvited" is actually a decent remake but it doesn't come close to how amazing "A Tale of Two Sisters" really is. Even if you're not a huge fan of J-Horror but you do enjoy horror movies, please please please check this movie out. It's not even just my favorite horror movie it could possibly be just one of my all time favorite movies in general. I've rewatched it probably 10 times and everytime you rewatch it you see something you missed the other times. I'm obsessed with this movie and I think everyone should watch it at least once. I'd recommend watching this one before watching the remake.
Dark Light (2019)
Terrible. Just....terrible.
I haven't written a review in a really really long time and I literally came here just to write this review so no one else loses 1 hour and 29 minutes that they're unable to get back. Ever. The acting was God awful, the plot was just absolutely ridiculous, and the entire movie was just....bad. Please avoid this movie at all costs. Trust me. You'll thank me. Not all heroes wear capes my friends.
In Fabric (2018)
I literally made an account just is I could write this review
This was literally, the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. It's trying WAY too hard to be some deep psychological thriller but I saw there for what seemed like 12 hours not having a CLUE as to what is happening. Avoid this at all costs. Seriously.
Into the Dark: I'm Just F*cking with You (2019)
WATCH. THIS. MOVIE.
I have never written a review before and I came on IMDB specifically to tell people to please watch this movie. It's amazing. Just...amazing. Hayes MacArthur deserves an academy award for this right here. Doesn't hurt that he's sexy af too. I must say. Honestly? Best movie I've seen in a long time.
Room (2015)
No words.
I have nothing else to say except that this is by far one of the best movies I've ever seen in my entire life. Brie Larson is such an amazing actress I have never seen a bad performance from her and Jacob Tremblay? Bruh. That kid is just....wow. So much talent packed into such a tiny little human being. This movie is incredible and definitely one of those movies you could watch multiple times and never get sick of it.
Locked Up (2017)
Oh Sweet Jesus this was bad....
When they did the casting call I'm 90% sure one of the requirements was you had to be unable to act yourself out of a paper bag.
Eat (2014)
Am I being Punk'd...? Don't trust the reviews...
Sooooo, whenever watch a movie I always check the reviews so I don't waste my time watching a shitty movie. I looked at the ratings and reviews people gave and saw a lot of 8's and 9's. So I watched it. Total horse shit. That's 90 minutes I won't get back. The storyline definitely had potential but the acting is just horrendous. Like, okay I'm gonna try and explain this the best way I can. Have you ever seen a movie or show where the actor is reading lines for a pretend show within the show and they're ACTING like they're a bad actor while reading the lines...? Like, they're a good actor in real life but in their show/movie they're acting like they're a bad actor for the movie scene or episode? Like for example, Joey Tribbiani from Friends. He's a good actor in real life but in the show Friends he portrays himself as a struggling actor who's not very good? That's what every person in this movie acts like. Especially the friend with the "baby girl" thing every 30 seconds and the main character is shitty too. Idk man but I thought this movie sucked.
