Dance Life (2024)
A Dance Lovers Dream
Any past or current dancers can relate and appreciate the effort and passion these young dancers have and show during their dance training and performances. Love watching the ups and downs and progress of dancers and this series was a perfect display of this.
Would love it even more if the full performances were shown but then I guess these episodes would've gone on for way too long.
Hearing from the dancers, dance teachers and parents was a highlight and very well directed.
You feel connected to the artists event more so than just watching their dancing.
Hopefully more seasons to come, perhaps even a where are they now in the future.
He's All That (2021)
For the younger generations
This movie has obvious similarities to the original 'She's All That' but unless you were born in the early 2000s, you will be very disappointed with this movie.
This movie was created for the younger generations and those who are obsessed with TikTok/YouTube.
They don't make movie like they used to anymore , sadly.
Bridgerton (2020)
A new take on a historical era
Hooked from the first episode and love the diversity amongst actors/characters.
A mix of Downton Abbey and Gossip Girl and it works.
Close (2019)
Eventful and Engaging
Engaging from the very beginning. Storyline becomes a little boring/confusing towards the end but even so I would recommend watching. Acting could be better but female lead Noomi is great.
Unbelievable (2019)
The perfect cast to tell this story
I was hooked from the very beginning.
The way in which they showed how different a sexual assault incident can be handled was amazing. They chose the perfect cast to tell this story and I hope those who have been impacted by sexual assault feel that their story has been represented in a respectful way.
I would be very surprised when if this series doesn't win any awards. Very well deserved.
You (2018)
An Eye-Opener
Scary eye-opener into the dark side of technology and social media and how easy it can be to manipulate. Hooked from the first episode with the creepy narration and acting from Badgley.
Grey's Anatomy (2005)
You'll Never Be Bored
Grey's Anatomy is in its 13th season and I've never really thought about how addicting it is until now. For eleven years I have been watching this show and I have been hooked on every single episode. I can't think of a time when I just simply just got sick of the show or bored with the content. This is one of those shows that no one will want to end. It contains so much drama, humour, feelings that after one episode, you just want more. Shonda Rimes has created such amazing connections with all the characters and after seeing so many disappear over the years you are left with new characters who you just can't help but fall in love with. This show is heartache, laugh out loud funny, cringe worthy at times but overall absolutely addictive!!
