Leaving Neverland (2019)
Cannot believe how gullible some people are
Leaving Neverland is completely one-sided and unfair to Michael Jackson as he is dead and cannot defend himself. The FBI conducted a 10 year experiment by tapping his phones, raiding his house numerous times, making him strip naked, and going through his home when he isn't home and countless of other things and what did they find... NOTHING. If the FBI, the people that found Saddam Hussein in a hole, claim that they found no evidence supporting the accusations, why is this case coming back? The facts are not in this documentary they are in court papers and legal documents .
Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck also used the same lawyer in 2013, and they have been trying to sue the Jackson estate for 7 years. During those court cases they have been court lying and changing their stories over and over again, they also had their case rejected 4 times. This is purely for money as both 'victims' were in desperate financial situations a couple years after Michael died, even if they deny this is for money, why are they still trying to sue the Jackson estate for millions of dollars? Both Wade and Jimmy are about $70 000 is debt to the Jackson estate due to court fees.
Michael Jackson may come across as weird or strange to some people, which is reasonable, reasoning being that he was abused by his father when he was a child, and was stripped away from his childhood so he wanted to experience what it was really like to be a kid, so he did act child like. But that does not mean he sexually abused these two boys, he is the most innocent man on the planet, and he has done countless of great acts for children, cancer patients, and the poor all over the world, but there is no light shed on that, because lies $ell, the truth doesn't
Anyone that has doubts, please do your research before accusing this man, even 5-10 minutes of research can prove this man is competely innocent. I reccomend watching The Michael Jackson Rebuttal part 3 which goes through all the lies both of the men and debunks them.
Jimmy said that Michael touched him or was over his house for thanksgiving in 1987, but its a fact that Michael was in Brisbane, Australia doing the Bad tour.
These men both swore under oath in court that Michael was innocent in 2005 when they were 27 years old. Wade even wanted to be the lead choreographer at a Michael Jackson tribute after he died. After that he was in finantial trouble and suddenly realised his 'abuse'. Wade has been trying to publish a book about this for years and no one published it, judges have called him a liar as one judge has said "No rational fact-finder could possibly believe Robsons sworn statement." Wade also used to identify himself as the master of deception. He also dated Michael Jacksons niece for 7 years, who would date their molesters niece? Wades mother claims in the documentary that she was so happy when Michael died and she danced around the house when wade actually admitted that Michael 'abused' him in 2013. There are the facts, do your research. Facts Don't lie, People Do.
Black Panther (2018)
Really hyped but did it meet expectations?
Look, I came to this movie with excitment, and with an open mind. I didn't even watch the trailer for the movie, the movie got so much hype and good reviews from pplaces like Rotten Tomatoes at 98% making it the highest scoring superhero movie and Imdb with a 7.8 rating. People were saying best superhero movie ever, Michael B Jordans villain was the best villian in movie history, the villian was better than Heath Ledgers Joker, did you read that, b-e-t-t-e-r than Heath Ledgers Joker, okay now you've crossed the line. Michael B Jordans preformance as the villian was good, but in no way does it stand next to The Joker.
Plot: The plot for this movie was set up in a good way, it reminded me of The Lion King, which I think was better than Black Panther. Except it got boring, I never have nearly fell asleep in a movie, even in the action scenes. It got pretty boring and really, really futeristic. It got boring because of a lot of talking but I didn't really care about characters dying, Sometimes I didn't even get the big deal about someone dying.
Actors: I have to give props to the actors in the movie, most of all Andy Serkis, who is usually a monkey actor for Planet Of The Apes, and King Kong. I am glad Andy got a chance to show his other acting skills to the world even though he is already a brilliant actor and very underrated. Overall Michael B Jordan, Chadwick Boseman and the lady supporting actors like Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira were really good as well.
Editing and CGI: There was a lot of CGI in this movie for obvious reasons and mostly because the movie is so futeristic with extreme technology and flying things and things like that. Other places included scenery and landscapes like waterfalls and other nature were very good and they nailed that.
Feedback: To be raw this isn't the superhero movie I was looking for. This wasn't anything like Spiderman Homecoming or other Marvel movies, which it doesn't have to be exactly like other movies it's just they coulld have made this movie a lot more intriguing and interesting. The hype really wasn't needed for this movie but it was mostly the African American people really excited about a new Black superhero, which I understand because if they made a movie surrounding my country people will get really excited to because pretty much all movies are based in America because America always gets the spotlight. But It was great to finally have a Black superhero for a change instead of having a predominatly white American superheros, and It's great that they are spreading superheros to other areas around the globe and I hope they continue to do that for places like Europe, Australia and other places around the world. But saying the movie is a really good film because it is a Black Superhero isn't the way to judge how good a movie is. This movie got boring for me and that is just my opinion but it seems a lot of other people agree as well. It was over hyped, huge budget, but really boring and nearly put me to sleep. I give Black Panther a 5.5/10, The best part was Andy Serkis's character.
It (2017)
One of the best movies of 2017
I didn't get to see a preview screening of IT but what influenced me to watch this movie was the constant good reviews by people and celebrities like The Rock posting an Instagram post praising the film, but also because I thought it was exciting bringing back a classic Stephen King adaption and upgrading it to a good length. The movie overall was brilliant and believe it or not it felt quite different to IT ( 1990 ). I went into the cinema with high expectations and it did meet them I have to say. In terms of it being scary and giving you nightmares may be a little over-exaggerated, sure the movie was scary especially if you imagine yourself as the children of Derry, but it wasn't cover your eyes scary if you know what I mean.
The actors were spectacular and I'm talking more about the main children cast and being probably the same age as them myself I would die to be a cast as one of the children in the losers club. The actors were so professional that you really feel as if they are friends and that they have a close bond. What really impressed me was Jaeden Lieberher's performance. He was probably one of the main characters but also he managed to take on stuttering for the whole movie which I thought turned out amazing considering him being about fourteen years old. Finn Wolfhard as Richie was probably my favorite character for introducing a comedic dialogue into the movie which kind of chilled out the cinema. Bill Skarsgård plays a good clown and all I could think was: next Joker. I thought the way he talked was very disturbing and the voice you could remember for a long time, I will always think of him as Pennywise The Dancing Clown.
There was a lot of special effects that the movie took advantage of because of the disadvantage the 1990 version had with lack of effects. I thought they used it in mostly a decent amount of times and ways which didn't spoil the movie.
The thing I liked about what the director did was express the name of the clown and the backstory, in IT ( 1990 ), Pennywise was barely said but in this 2017 version they introduce the clown as Pennywise The Dancing clown, and also they expressed how Pennywise returns to Derry every 27 years which I thought made the movie better. I thought the ending wasn't bad although I'm not gonna go into too much detail so I don't spoil the movie, I am going to say it is a must see and the movie deserves the credit it is getting when the amount of work that went into the movie and the marketing team was really smart when promoting the movie like putting red balloons in the sewers on the premiere night and putting Snapchat filters for the movie and all sorts of stuff, and I really like how a red balloon is now a symbol for the movie. I am glad I can call this movie a classic.
All Eyez on Me (2017)
Watch how the legendary Tupac became what he is today
Movie: There has been a lot of movies out lately that have drawn a lot of peoples attention, but I got to see a preview of All Eyez On Me, if you don't know what the movie is about it tells the true story of the legendary rapper Tupac. Now as you know there is many hardcore fans out there for Pac and to get this movie right was crucial. Now I loved the movie but I think more thought and detail could of gone into it. When creating a movie your audience is going to be hardcore fans and people who may not have an idea of the whole story and watching the movie will give them a clear recount of the story that's being told, and I think All Eyez on me did that well. There is other movies about other legendary rappers like Notorious which tells the story of Biggie smalls and Straight Outta Compton directed by F. Gary Grey. In my opinion I think straight outta Compton is a better movie than All Eyes On Me but not drastically.
Actors: Demetrius Shipp Jr. played Tupac and did a outstanding job in doing so, he sounded like Pac, he looked like Pac, and acted like Pac and I think he was perfect for the role. Biggie Smalls was in the movie and the movie decided to recycle the old Notorious B.I.G from the movie Notorious, which I think was fine although in Notorious Jamal Woolard ( Biggie ) had the right weight for the role because as you may know Biggie was a massive person often being insulted for being fat but in All Eyez On Me, Jamal Woolard had lost some weight since the Notorious movie a decade ago and his weight was too light for the role in my opinion. There was a few horrible casting roles for this movie like Nas, the actor was great with his skill but no where did he look like the real Nas, the same case was also with Dr Dre, not saying the actor sucked but he does not look like the real Dre. Snoop Dogg however sounds exactly like the real Snoop its scary. I thought it was the real snoop doing a voice over or something, and he kind of did look like the real Snoop Dogg. Suge Knight wasn't recycled from Straight Outta Compton, actually the actor who play Suge Knight in Straight Outta Compton just recently got arrested for assault
guess he decided to stay in character. Danai Gurira played Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother and I got to say she did an outstanding performance, you can tell she did her homework and it really felt like it was the real Afeni in the movie.
Story: Tupac has a great story behind him and it deserves to be spread out to the public, I really loved watching Pacs life on the big screen. I really enjoyed watching this movie although he had a magnificent story I feel like there wasn't enough detail and the movie didn't have its full potential like the movie Unbroken was accused for. The thing that bothered me was as an example in Straight Outta Compton parts of the movie thoroughly told what happened before they got famous, during they got famous, and showed some footage on after they were famous, now I'm not saying Straight Outta Compton was a perfect movie because it did have some faults but the way the whole movie was set out was great, but in All Eyez On Me it shows parts of his life before he blew up in the music industry and then straight to " Juice " and Death row and things like that and I think that's was let down the movie a bit.
Feedback: Go see this movie if you are a hardcore fan of the legend or if you are interested in watching his story, I really recommend it to everyone. This movie showed how much of a real person Pac was. In my opinion what really would of made this movie great is if they made Straight Outta Compton, Notorious and All Eyez On Me connected that really would of been great because there is a little bit of scenes that were used in Straight Outta Compton and Notorious, it would of fit well because of the recycled Biggie too. One thing about this movie though is that they made Nas and Snoop look real bad as if they were bad people. I could tell they tried to avoid doing that with Biggie and Suge Knight, but they did make these two look like bad people, not so much Snoop more Nas though. I'm not comparing this to 8 Mile; Eminem's movie or Get Rich Or Die Trying; 50 cent's movie because them movies are about before they got famous not during or after. All Eyez On Me did a good job showing the relationships that Pac had with people at home, family, and people he met. The action shots in this movie were done brilliant; scenes with gunshots and action scenes and things like that. I strongly recommend people checking out this movie on how the legend became who he is today. I enjoyed watching an important part of Hip Hops story, you would enjoy this movie more if you are already interested and love Tupac like me even though he died before I was born. I rate this movie a 7.8/10. If you want check out my Youtube channel where I review movie titles such as this one and others.
The Fate of the Furious (2017)
Another fast and furious movie, did it work ?
The Fate Of The Furious Movie Review!
Movie: Now this movie has been really hyped up lately, well the whole franchise is usually really hyped up anyway but that is really critical for the movie because sometimes they are not as great as the hype that is produced. Now in my honest opinion, the fast and furious franchise should of stopped at fast 7, mainly because the way they ended it was just right, but I guess they just had to make another one because people go crazy over Fast and Furious movies no matter what the plot is, really in my opinion I do not have a clue on how Fast and furious went from racing to racing away on ice in Lamborghini's and race cars and getting shot my the Russian military in the Russian military base and going top speed driving away from a submarine under the ice which is sub zero temperatures while missiles are also getting aimed at them and saving the world from a girl who is going to nuke the world or something? The movies are gradually getting more and more intense in each movie. I can say the movie was entertaining but also there were parts to the movie that weren't great.
Actors & Directors : One thing about Fast & Furious is the main cast and actors in the movie, which in my opinion are all magnificent. Lets talk about Tyrese first. Tyrese is usually the humorous character in the team, sometimes he can be cheesy but in Fast and furious 8 I think he was pretty funny, it wasn't very forced jokes, it was just funny, I liked him a lot. Next we have Vin Diesel, now Vin is a very confusing character throughout the movie, as people who have seen the trailer, he turns his back on his " family ", but ill explain that later, overall he was good, I guess just like how he was for the whole franchise. " Luke Hobbs " aka Dwayne " the rock " Johnson which is one of my favorites was just his usual self, his character wasn't really that involved within the plot really, but I really like his character. Next Jason Stratham, another one of my personal favorite actors, really he is the highlight of this movie, it wouldn't have been as great without him in it, he was my favorite character. Like as soon as you see Jason Stratham in a movie you already know bodies are going to drop left, right and center, he is just magnificent, his character was something the movie really needed. Ludicrous is the well known hacker in the movie, really his just the same within all of the franchise has the hacker personality, drives fancy cars, and is always messing around with Tyrese. Scott Eastwood in the movie?
I think he can borrow a bit of talent from his father.
F. F. Gary one of my favorite directors showed good skills in this movie but needed some work.
Plot: Now, plot was a big thing for this movie. What the movie is about is Vin Diesel's character " Dom" turns his back on his crew, and becomes bad, and ow the Fast and furious crew have to stop him blah, blah, blah. Now we know that but we have no complication whatsoever, it kind of ruins the film, it's kind of the case of what happened with Batman v Superman Dawn of justice ( not a spoiler ). There is no reason why he turned on his " family " which gave a downfall to the movie. The enemy within the film ( Charlize Theron ) was just the typical I'm going to do this, I got this, I'm evil and whatsoever but the way she was " defeated " wasn't good. This is all usually distracted by all the bad ass events that happens follows within the film.
Editing: Editing is something crucial for the fast and furious series, and for this movie they nailed it. Surprisingly they didn't have that much music to go with the fight scenes and editing, which is something Fast and furious is known to do but there is nothing to complain about editing wise.
Feedback: Overall; if you are the type of person that doesn't want to spend their money in the cinemas to watch another fast and furious, you don't need to rush to cinemas to watch it, although you can wait to the DVD release and watch because This movie was quite entertaining, it was quite a entertaining 2 hours for me. If you are a fast and furious fan go see the movie it is not bad in my opinion, really its just another fast and furious movie but it always has something in there to make it different. People might wonder: Is Fate of the furious the best in the fast and furious franchise? Ow even through I have only watched fast 6, 7, and 8 in my opinion 7 was better for several reasons. My questions about the film: How come no matter what situation the crew is in, there is always a button in their cars to get them out of it? question 2 : How do they always have something in their car to make them go faster? Question 3: How do the people in the film think so damn fast ? I rate the fate of the furious a 7/10. Check out my YouTube channel where I review this movie and other movies: Real Kritics
Kong: Skull Island (2017)
The new King Kong
Movie: Kong: Skull Island the fourth remake of the magnificent story about a couple of geologists and a military group go off to discover an unknown island in the South Pacific, not knowing what they were in for, as they are entering the land of King Kong. Now this movie is titled after King Kong, but its not just the king himself, in the 2005 version the king destroys dinosaurs and other creatures while Kong: skull island has a whole range of creatures, call it Kong and friends: skull island. In the 2005 version of King Kong which went for 3 hours and 10 minutes it took half the movie to reveal King Kong, in this one you see an early view of Kong straight away. Kong: skull island goes for 2 hours, which I thought was good because it didn't drag the movie on for to long, it went straight the point. The movies cast was spectacular. J.K. Simmons and Michael Keaton were originally supposed to be cast ed in this film but both had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts, which I thought worked out well because the bad ass Samuel L. Jackson took Simmons place and John C. Reilly took over Keaton's role.
Actors: as I said, I loved the cast for this movie, Tom Hiddleston as James Conrad, a hired soldier for the team, Samuel L. Jackson as Preston Packard was the chief, John Goodman as Bill Randa who was one of the geologists, and more. Jason Mitchell and Corey Hawkins both played in Straight Outta Compton with Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre and Jason Mitchell as Eazy E and returned again to play in Kong: skull island which was great. You can also tell John Goodman has aged in This movie. Director: Jordan Vogt-Roberts created the look of the new King Kong to look similar to the first King Kong in 1933.
Editing: the editing in the movie was great, there was great shots and clips of the movie that blow you away. Kong himself looked good and horrific and so did all the other creatures.
Feedback: Now, no matter who you are, go see this movie. In my opinion everyone would love this movie. The whole movie is so entertaining, there's not much scenes which bore you with scientific information in this movie, it is action packed, like a huge gorilla the size of a building destroying and killing everything in its path, its just spectacular. To me there was no faults in this movie except for a off leading ending that wasn't fully satisfying. There is a after credits scene with Godzilla, which I missed and found out later. I was also surprised to find out that a majority of the film was filmed in Gold Coast, Australia. If your want to see a movie with friends or just want to Catch a flick, go see Kong: skull Island in theaters Now! I rate Kong: Skull Island a 8.2/10

Fist Fight (2017)
Plot, so stereotypical
Fist Fight is a movie directed by Richie Keen and starring Ice cube, and Charlie Day. The movie is based on a teacher snitching on another teacher, which then causes beef between them both, when one of the teachers challenge the other teacher to a fist fight after school on the catastrophic last day of High school for the year.
Movie: Now going to see this movie,Fist Fight with Ice Cube and Charlie Day, a stereotypical plot where a Big, buff guy, is going to take on a smaller wimpier guy, who is nice and friendly, now, good movie watchers can already guess the whole ending, but ill give you this, its two of your predictions in one. I kind of knew what to expect from this movie, I mean the overall comedy was pretty good, but the plot is very predictable and overused.
Actors: Ice cube as Mr Strickland, which of course you can tell by the script name given that the character is a strict teacher, was okay you know, Ice cube has played a lot of characters in the past from a teacher, police officer, a barber, a explorer person in anaconda, and more. To be honest I'd never see him take on a role of a teacher, but you can't complain, he didn't do bad in the role. Charlie Day, as Mr Campbell which was a good cast for a wimpy, nice, friendly little vulnerable guy to be petrified by being hurt. Jillian Bell, as the school counselor, her acting and character is the same in all her movies.
Editing: The editing in the movie and the fight scenes is pretty good overall. I think they did a good job with the actual fight scenes.
FeedBack: Overall if you're going to see this movie hoping for your stomach to hurt because of the huge amount of humour in the movie, you will not be fully satisfied. The movie was not bad, but not amazing. Me, personally, would not choose to make a movie with this plot and stereotype which has been used over and over and has now became a Clićhe. I'd rate the comedy 5.8/10. I rate Fist Fight a 6.2/10.
Patriots Day (2016)
Peter Berg with Another Magnificent True Story Movie
Movie:
As I went to see this movie, I didn't have much knowledge of what it was about the movie, the motive for me to see it was the ratings and Mark Wahlberg. Patriots day is a movie about the Boston marathon bombings in 2013, plotted by terrorists. The story is based around Tommy Saunders played by Mark Wahlberg. Overall I was amazed of the movie, which is no surprise for Peter Berg I soon realized but the editing, the emotion, the acting was brilliant. I am always attracted to movies with a true story like Hacksaw Ridge, and Deepwater Horizon which was also Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg teamed together as actor and director. The person who went to see the movie with me said it was one of the best movies she's seen. Mark Wahlberg also claims this is the most important film of his career.
Actors and directors: Of course Mark Wahlberg did a magnificent job again in this hit film. The movie starred him but the movie didn't really revolve around him throughout the whole movie like deep water horizon. The "I want pictures of Spider man guy" J.K. Simmons was also in the film, aged a bit since I've last seen him but he did great as his role, he will also be "commissioner Gordon" In the upcoming Justice League movie. John Goodman was also in the movie playing Commissioner Ed Davis, which he played well. Peter Berg as director was great again. The action shots of when the bombs exploded during the marathon were shot so good and the way he recorded the events were magnificent ( not going into too much detail for spoiler purposes ).
Plot: The true story movie was about the Boston bombings in 2013. Now when true story are made into movies, they most likely have a big year gap towards the actual event and the movie. Three years isn't a huge difference but I guess Peter Berg couldn't wait to release the hit movie. As you do see though a lot of true story movies are always being released now-a-days more then they did before, I guess directors are running out of ideas.
Feedback: If you are a person who enjoys watching movies based off true, shocking events this is another movie for you. I think this movie deserves a bit more popularity, not like it lacks popularity, its just magnificent movies like these deserves to be viewed by a lot more people. A lot of lives got lost on that day and hundreds where injured, with amputated legs and all sorts of horrifying things. This shows you a great dramatization of what happened of the day and the lead of how they take down the terrorists. The movie shows all the brave people who sacrificed time and effort to tack down these people. I recommend everyone go see this movie, whenever you can, I really recommend it. I rate Patriots Day a 8.3/10.
Split (2016)
M. Night Shyamalan
Movie- M. Night Shyamalans comeback to the movie industry, by making a brand new movie, that caught the interests of everyone seeking a new, fresh, thrilling movie. M. Night Shyamalans previous works doesn't impress people with movies like, signs and after earth, which were total failures. M. Night Shyamalan released the movie The Visit in 2015 which was kind of a funny- thriller. Now when I say funny-thriller I mean it wasn't supposed to be humorous but gave a few laughs in some scenes and the same happened with split. I don't think it should of got the " horror " tag as its not a horror its a thriller. One thing that really caught my attention and a small detail that was in the movie was at the start when they address the cast they do it in a kind of a old thriller type of thing where its a split 10 screens, it just made the beginning look so cool. The story, plot, and idea of this movie was very unique and special, M. Night Shyamalan was smart to come up with something like this as a lot of directors would not think as something as smart as that.
Actors:
Now actors, I can not exaggerate how much of a great performance James McAvoy pulled off, really Oscar worthy. His character kind of reminded me of Heath Ledgers Joker. That was something that was a highlight of the movie. Other actors such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Haley Lu Richardson, were outstanding with the characters, especially Anya Taylor-Joy.
Plot: As I said before the plot was very unique, and was something fresh, and new for people to watch, but as a thriller not a horror. It was sort of a mysterious film where you didn't know what was happening next but not to a high level.
Feedback: Overall I recommend watching this movie, its really entertaining for any type of audience. One thing was the ending. You know its going to be confusing if there's ending explanations when you type in "split" in google or YouTube. The order of events is really tense and you're always wondering whats going to happen next. If you are into M. Night Shyamalan, go see this movie to see a tremendous comeback. The only downfall was a confusing ending that only a small group of M. Night Shyamalan super fans would understand, you would understand if you look at a ending explanation if you didn't already understand the ending like I did. I rate M. Night Shyamalans Split a 7.5/10.
Why Him? (2016)
So Stereotypical
Movie: Why Him? Now by that title you know what this movie is about. A couple are deeply in love and want to spend their whole life together, but the father or Mother doesn't allow it, which is now becoming a really overused cliché. We've all seen it before in movies like The Waterboy and The Mother-In-Law Now if you doing a movie like this you have to make it special and unique so it can be different from the others. Did this movie do it? Ah, not quite. Although it was an okay movie and was entertaining to watch, this movie didn't have anything special. There were a few laughs in the movie here and there, but other jokes and supposed to be funny scenes, were not really funny and really predictable.
Actors: One thing I loved about this movie is James Franco as lead role, Couldn't off done a better actor choice. He did suit the role and it felt like the attitude of the character was meant for him which was good. Other actors like Cedric the entertainer known for "The barbershop "series, and Keegan Key from Key & Peele where awesome too.
Feedback: Now if you just want to watch a movie with someone or a group of people, this movie isn't a bad choice. This movie isn't hilarious, but wasn't horrible so it's in-between. With Jonah Hill as the writer for the story, it could have been better and you could have expected more from someone like Jonah as the writer. This movie did fail in some areas, And the kid in the movie who goes by the name of "Scotty" ugh, just so cringe. I rate Why Him? 6.5/ 10.
Assassin's Creed (2016)
What a way to end of the year
Movie: First off, if you think you're going to see some action with Ezio, Altair, Connor, or Edward, you're wrong. The only element in this movie that is well known in both the video game and the movie is the "Hidden Blade ". People who know this game and I'm sure if other people had knowledge on the video game, would not want too much of the modern day story and want more action with the assassins and the old ages, but in this movie most of the movie was based on modern day story which was a major disappointment.
Actors and Directors: Actors were all quite decent and had no problem. Now if you're making a movie about a video game, the first thing you need to keep in mind is to base the movie off the video game. There is Barley any of that in the movie. No well known characters of the game are in the movie. Disappointment from director: Justin Kurzel.
Action Scenes: For the few action scenes there were, the fighting scenes were entertaining to see some weak soldiers get their ass kicked by assassins. Another Chase scene with an assassin and a Templar and of course the assassin gets away was a mildly entertaining.
Feedback: Honestly, out of all the movies I've watched this year in the cinemas, this is the worst. I honestly expected way more from this movie. Even in the modern world the writers try so hard to make the characters sound professional and fancy and wise, but it's just so overdone its confusing to comprehend what they're saying sometimes. One thing that really disappointed me is the famous "Leap of faith "where the assassin jumps from a tall building into a haystack or something soft. As he goes to jump into the haystack, just before he lands, the person who is being used to watch their ancestors past has a seizure. What an excuse to block something everyone was looking forward to seeing, they could have tried harder and put more effort into this movie. If you are a huge fan of assassins creed like I am or you are just someone who is Interested in seeing this movie, you're better off not to see it, huge disappointment. I rate assassin's creed a score of 5/10.
The Founder (2016)
Ray Krocs road to creating the Famous fast food chain "McDonalds
Movie: Ray Kroc, the founder of the massive fast food chain that we all know; McDonalds, well not really, more like the "franchiser?" The founder is based off Ray Kroc who made McDonalds famous and what we know it as today. One thing though, I was uneasy about the fact that Ray Kroc was not the founder of McDonalds, what he did was spread franchises of the restaurant. This movie caught my attention to go watch because I thought; there hasn't been a movie about a fast food chain origin so I was interested in seeing what the movie was like. I have looked into the subject before and I do recommend they do the story of Colonel Sanders, the creator of KFC.
Actors and Directors: Michael Keaton as the main role was great for Ray Kroc, the role was originally meant to be given to Tom Hanks but he turned down the role. John Lee Hancock as the director was acceptable, the things he could have done that would of made the movie better would be the progress of McDonalds after Ray Kroc bought the McDonalds brothers out of the business, like this all happened during 1950s where they only sold hamburgers, fries and milkshakes so they could of added the other menu items they added on like the Big Mac and Mc-nuggets and other menu items. They also could have added the original Ronald McDonald, which was kind of creepy. Things like this could have made the movie better and more entertaining.
Feedback: If you are interested in the subject of this movie, I recommend you go check it out for yourself and what you thought of the movie. If you are just looking for a movie to watch, this is an okay option. Obviously the movie is based on a true story and is based off the golden arches we all know today. To be honest when I went to go see the movie, I had kind of higher expectations for the movie but the movie was still a great watch. The most fun thing about it was going to McDonalds after the movie to eat a burger and fries. With IMDb giving a score of 7.7/10 and Rotten Tomatoes giving 92%, I rate this movie a 7.1/10.
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
Mel Gibsons Massive Comeback With A Amazing Movie
Movie: Mel Gibson's MASSIVE comeback to the movie industry by directing Hacksaw Ridge, a movie about Desmond Doss and how he went into World War 2 without any self defense serving as a medic and became the first conscientious objector in American history to be rewarded the medal of honour. This movie blew away people across the world and movie critics are scoring high. Desmond Doss's actions in the movie were based on truly heroic true events, which needed to be carried out with a lot of courage and bravery. The movie also gives you a brutally honest R rated (American classification) vision of what happened in that war and how similar events were carried out in other wars.
Actors and directors: Andrew Garfield known as The Amazing Spiderman, played Desmond Doss with Excellency and had the right physical and verbal appearance to suit the roll. Another actor, Vince Vaughn who played Sergeant Howell, played him with great acting skills and character. Otherwise there's nothing to complain about the actors, they were all spectacular. Mel Gibson did this movie and man, what a comeback. If Mel Gibson didn't direct this movie, the whole movie would go in another direction. His last movie Expendables 3 in 2014 was the last we saw of him for 2 years. We know him as violence movie maker with movies such as Brave heart and Passion of the Christ, and boy is this a lot of gore and violence. But, it is good as it gives you the true explanation of what happened in the movie and real life and that is what makes the movie great and makes people's minds widen up to the subject of war and what really happened with scenes with amputated body parts and decapitations, as some people cover their eyes while there is the other people sucked into the movie.
Feedback: I strongly recommend everyone to go see this movie, especially people interested in war and movies with a catholic impact. The movie has a strong catholic impact to the story, with his faith giving him strength, people who are seeking Catholic movies, I recommend watching this. But if you are sensitive to gore, watch if you dare. Similar movies like this like Unbroken and American Sniper only got 7.1 & 7.2 from IMDb, which to me is pretty unexplainable, but I have to admit, Hacksaw Ridge tops the list. This movie got an astounding 8.7/10 from IMDb making it one of the most highest ranked movies ever, which to me is well deserved! This story and movie is just amazing! I rate Hacksaw Ridge 9/10.
Deepwater Horizon (2016)
Great movie
Movie: Mark Walberg's big movie hit based on the biggest oil spill in U.S history, along the Gulf of Mexico was a massive hit which surprised many critics and movie watchers around the world, as you see a convincing and terrifying dramatization of what happened on the Deepwater Horizon. This movie was very dramatic and full of action which means no pee breaks and no blinking, because you don't want to miss a bit of it as the story unfolds. The director: Peter Berg and along with Mark Walberg taking part in producing the film, they put out a thrilling, and exciting film which has everybody on the edge of their seats. The first half of the movie is a ticking time bomb and when everything goes out of hand, the last 40 minutes are you gritting your teeth. The events in this movie as you may of noticed are based on true events and were truly shocking and Mike Williams, (Mark Walberg's character, the main character) performs truly heroic actions for the sake of his work mates.
Actors: Mark Walberg has to be one of my favorite actors, and even though it slides off the comedy genre, in this movie everything works brilliantly with the actors. You cannot really doubt any actors in the movie; the cast for the movie was great, Including: Mark Walberg, Kurt Russel, Kate Hudson, John Malkovich and several appearances by Dylan O' Brian.
Editing: The editing and work in this movie was pushing me off my seat in the cinema with huge explosions, big bursts, people getting blown away, it just has your heart beating through your chest.
Feedback: I strongly recommend people to see this extraordinary movie, also its best in cinemas so you can get a better experience for the movie. Something that I thought was a great feature of the film was at the end it shows the real hero, Mike Williams and has a tribute to the 11 people who died during the shocking event with their names and picture which really was a great thing to add. A Well known actor, The Rock posted on his Instagram that he saw the movie and complimenting Mark Walberg on his terrific job and saying that he enjoyed the movie.
