Still desperately seeking something that was not a rerun, I found this moving horror show! In the 1st 6 minutes I knew it was going to be a mess, the cardboard stand up picture of t-rump was a dead giveaway! The movie showcased the kinds of people that support him,low class, trailer dwellers, who profess to love America, but hate anyone who doesn't look, or think like them. The main character was pathetic!! Throughout the ENTIRE movie he drinks beers, mini alcohol bottles and big bottles of the same. He couldn't even keep a goldfish alive! The whole movie is filled with unknown actors ,except for Kirsten Johnston who had gotten as big as a Greyhound bus! The phase "She sure let herself go" is an understatement!

The movie gives you NO ONE to root for, you just feel sorry for the little kid because his father is a drunken loser, who vomits inside a car!

Sometimes as a medical professional I see things in movies,that make me ask? WHO was thier medical consultant!?

This movie messed up TERRIBLY in the first 20 minutes! The scene ,with Kevin Hart as a nurse! Where they PAGED Ben Stiller's character,who was the Director of Nursing to come help give a patient an ENEMA! That alone was ridiculous, then they had the drug rep, who magically KNEW which room to walk into,come unannouncedto a patient's bedside and actually GIVE the enema! This was one of the MOST ridiculous things I have ever seen!

After that the rest of the movie went downhill FAST. DeNiro's character defibrillates.. HIMSELF,that's when I turned it OFF, as a Nurse and SANE person I could no longer watch this flaming hot pile of manure!

This movie went sour for me in the fist 10 minutes! Who has his wife die, then goes home and DOESN'T tell his grandchild,who is school age and intelligent!? Next he has NO IDEA how to get to her school,where she gone for more than a year, HELLO everyone has GPS!!!! It is the 21st CENTURY!!

Then there is the tired old "How do you style hair on a bi racial girl" scene. The most ridiculous one was the girl having to be FORCED to brush her teeth! Who wrote this screenplay?! Stevie Wonder!!?? I love Octavia Spencer and Kevin Costner, but this does neither one of them justice. No wonder Kevin had to put up the money himself,this is a silly, tacky, unrealistic movie.

As we all know short men have big egos, Spike Lee is no exception. One question WHY did you cast two people in thier late 50s and early 60s as little Bleek's parents?!

The black hair dye and hip clothing did NOT hide Dick Anthony Williams and Abby Lincoln's wrinkles and puffy eyes. This was a fair movie, convoluted and too long as most of Spike's movies are.
