Ziddi Dil Maane Na (2021)
Brilliant and a show most needed.
Ziddi Dil Maane na is a must watch show. It has everything from romance, action, drama, comedy and layered characters. Be it music, camera, writing or the actors. Everyone is doing a great job. My favorite is Kunal Karan Kapoor as Sid Ganju. Reason being, the character will change and grow on the show and the journey will be very interesting to watch. 2020 Kunal Karan Kapoor did a very complex and layered character and seeing him in a character like Sid is so refreshing. His character is a stress-buster, at the same time I know the character will end up having many layers throw Kunal Karan Kapoor's performance.
Breathe: Into the Shadows (2020)
Same plot but told differently
Great watch BUT as always the creative/writers did not do their homework on split personality. It made no sense. When as a kid trauma acquires and another personality appears to protect - that personality is the strong one and the dominate one and not the weak one. Here everything was mixed up. The personality that needed protection was the one with the brain and able to kill. The personality that the child created, who was suppose to protect, was the weak one with emotions, empathy and not able to kill. This did not make sense at all.
A lot of things did not make sense. The whole plot about kidnapping and killing did not make sense - character vise. What would make sense was if who we saw as J was actually Avinash. J took over Avinash life.
Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side (2020)
A great watch...BUT
Asur is a great watch. Honestly speaking Barun's performance in the first few episodes was nothing to be happy about. His character felt flat, no personality and his dialogue with his performance was a mix match. But after he get kidnap his performance was good. Few loopholes but can be ignored. Barun's character in the end did not make sense. Last episode was not the best. Few times there was an awkward silence between some of the main characters, that kind of pull you out of the moment.
What I did feel and bothered me was that they did not do their fully research on "being a serial killer". Either "the bad guy" is a serial killer or a cult leader. Two different mindset and way to kill. Beside that, the child artist "Asur" was powerful but the adult "Asur" was weak and kind of disappointment. Me watching second season will have to be if "the bad guy" come as a strong actor. or maybe if there are more flashback to the child artist. Rest characters did not really make an impact enough for me to want to watch Asur again or a second season for that matter.
For me, a powerful character, actor and performance goes hand in hand and what makes me want to watch a series again. I have to connect with at least one character. I didn't.
Illegal - Justice, Out of Order (2020)
Disappointed
Story and plot is good but performance of some of the actors is really REALLY bad. Two character that had an important role to play gave some terrible performance. One was screaming more than actually showing pain and frustration and the other did not know how to portray a father who feels some sort of guilt (Deepak and Kitu). Funny enough the best performance on the web series was given by the judge who was hilarious with his remarks. That was the highlight of the court room drama. Rest was good but not great performance. You did not really connect with any of them. Mehar you wanted to know more about to feel her pain and Kubbra gave an awesome performance but still.....something was missing. I would say. One time watch.
The Raikar Case: Whodunnit? (2020)
Kunal Karan Kapoor has a tremendous talent to innate and emote.
I am just going to talk about Kunal Karan Kapoor's performance in this episodes which was so beautiful. Doing such an intense and emotional scene in front of senior and very talented actors, then nail it so perfectly and unbelievably....WOW. The way he emote, the details, hand shaking, they way he breath or hold his breath and the way he gave you an insight to all the many turmoils going on. Phenomenal. The way he said "help" and called out for his father when the father left the room. Heart breaking. Then Mohit's last cry after his father left him, neglecting and abandoning him again. That cry came from within and deep deep down. There was so much pain there. Take a bow for Kunal Karan Kapoor breathtaking performance. I could write a whole essay on Mohit. The next scene with his mother, you felt for a moment that someone just grab your heart. Kunal Karan Kapoor's voice was so deep and it felt like it came from a dark hollow place. You felt how all the secrets had been eating him up from the inside. Last, the look Kunal Karan Kapoor as Mohit gave when his mother handle the glass of milk. Brilliant. This artist is so talented and I hope that in season 2 his character will be much more explored.
The Raikar Case: Truth over family? (2020)
Surprised
In this episode you get to know about Mohit's secrets and what I really want to talk about Kunal Karan Kapoor and Rushad Rana's performance. They had less than 5 seconds and it was beautiful. Mohit as I believe has some serious father issues.
The Raikar Case (2020)
Love it from the beginning to the end
Must watch webseries. It about family, betrayal, secrets and power. It keep you guessing and every character had grey shades. There are some twist and turns and the end is a surprise. Everyone understood their character very well and gave their best - Parul's character was not 100% convincing for me. Few actors that really left an impact on me was Kunal Karan Kapoor, Atul KulKarni, Ashwini Bhave and Lalit Prabhakar. Waiting for season2.

Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (2012)
unique love story - and a must watch Tv-show.
I love the show because there was much more to it than a love story. First season was light. It made you smile, laugh and cry. Second season was more mature, heavy and touch many expect of life. The best thing about the show was the characters and the relationships. Especially Mohan Bhatnagar portrayed by Kunal Karan Kapoor. He carried the show on his shoulders. It was his relationships with all the characters that was beautiful. You watch a free spirit guy falling in love with a widow with two kids. How he lose himself trying to be accepted and fit into Viyas family. Second season is about being a stepfather and a father carrying around guilt and trying to prove his love for his family. There is a side story of kids trafficking going on and there is many other important issues touched. I could write a whole assay on season 2 but will just say - watch the show. Everyone did an amazing job behind and infront of the camera. Beside that Kunal Karan Kapoor was outstanding. Following Mohan's journey and how the character and the artist grow on the two seasons are unbelievable. The way you watch Mohan in season 1, then season 2 then as Vasu is just Brilliant.
