I only watched The Duel because of the cast .Western style films not really my thing . But being a fan of Alice Braga ,I took a chance with it . Glad I did . Alice turned in another good performance whilst woody showed what diverse rolls he can play .Liam hemsworth played the other lead well enough but for me not moody enough. It is a violent movie but has some very edgy moments . Subject matter will not be everyone's cup of tea ,but give it a go . More power to Alice Bragas elbow .

Another Netflix goodie .Anya's portrayal of Beth was very clever ,with some very funny scenes . It's quite nostalgic for me being set back in the 60's ,it also rekindles an interest in chess .I would recommend anyone who's doubtful about the subject matter ,give it a go . Enjoy Bruce

The Undoing has shown at last that Hugh Grant is not a one trick pony . He shed his English foppish acting style and turned in a really good performance .Helped by a strong cast ,it made compelling viewing. I hope Hugh continues down this path . The Undoing is well worth binge watching . Enjoy Bruce

It's a fun film . Easy to watch , JA is so good in these type of films .She is a very clever,funny actress .Adam Sandler is the perfect leading man for her .The two children were so funny ,especially in the negotiations. Loved the outdoor scenes . I did find the main plot a little far fetched.I can't imagine any person falling for it . But give it a watch ,it is funny . Enjoy Bruce

Flicking thro Netflix . Chanced on Virgin River . So pleased we did . It's a warm cosy series ,some quirky characters,acted by some good actors. The episodes blend nicely, giving you more background on each character. The added bonus is the beautiful scenery,it's amazing , oh to visit it . Looking forward to the new series. Binged on this series ,I'm up to 13 episodes now .I love the two main characters,The trainee female gets better with each episode. But MEGLIN steals the show ,a real oddball character. The crimes have been done many times before ,but it doesn't get bogged down in too much detail . If this is your style of viewing Fayre ,you won't be disappointed.Also loved the Russian back shots ,makes a refreshing change .Hope you enjoy . Bruce

Emily in Paris ,what a joy . A well acted , well presented movie .It was fun, and brilliant Casting ,characters were such an odd ball bunch I couldn't help but love this movie . As a guy I found it quite refreshing to watch ,compared to my normal fare . I must be mellowing as the years go by .Lily Collins such a promising actress ,and Jean- Christophe playing the designer was such good casting . Set in Paris It was just right. I look forward to a follow up . Take care Bruce

When I watched Bad Blood it reminded me of what a good actor Kim Coates is . Previously in Sons of Anarchy ,Bad Blood plays to Kim's strengths . The storyline is fast moving with plenty of action .He is so suited to this role ,also showing a softer side . Some really good casting ,it's another binge worthy series .look forward to seeing his other work .all take care. Bruce

Just binged on all three series of Wanted .I found it really enjoyable ,loved the interaction between the two lead characters. From a viewers perspective it was great escapism .Grab a beer and go with the flow .

A bit late but I've just watched QUEEN OF THE SOUTH . It really surprised me , It's so much better than the normal drugs bust tv serials .some great casting ,with some very strong female leads . Plenty of action with some clever story lines . It certainly leaves you wanting more . Looking forward to season 5 . Best wishes to all fans . BC
