Home Team (2022)
Recycled plot with a celebrity coach twist
High level coach gets stuck with ragtag kids team and learns valuable lessons from kids in the end. Bad News Bears, Mighty Ducks, etc. Any movie with Rob Schneider should be warning enough about the humour level.
Fast n' Loud (2012)
Russell is a show killer
I used to love the show when they made rough vehicles into affordable daily drivers but think they lost their way when six figure restorations became the norm. If I wanted to watch Overhaulin', I would do that. I still watched the show until Russell joined the cast. Seriously, does Richard owe this guy money or something? Truly scene poison, this fat fork lift operator is an untalented sidekick that offers an anchor to a sinking franchise.
Crisis (2021)
Mediocre amateurish attempt to make a social statement
Bad acting (Hammer is comically awful), a very predictable storyline, and so many unbelievable aspects make this a painful watch. The sets are unrealistic, apparently in the winter months every car is perfectly clean in Montreal and all actors have perfectly pressed and spotless clothes, not to mention impeccable hairstyles, even on the drug addicted lowlifes. The special effects and cinematography reek of budget restrictions. I actually feel bad for a respected actor like Gary Oldman and a decent effort by Greg Kinnear.
CSI: Vegas (2021)
Gone on sixty seconds of terrible television
Other than the script, acting and dialogue, it's not embarrassing. Bruckheimer should wash his hands of this this slop. Bringing back alumni of the original show only lessens the desperation of network executives. So very sad for fans of the original series.
